I purchased this for my 8-month grandbaby. It was exactly what I needed. She loved it. She liked the colors and animals. Out of the box it felt thin, however once it was on the floor it was plush and comfortable. I recommend this mat.

This is the greatest baby mat. Gave it as a gift and we washed it straightaway to use for a baby. It came out of the dryer fluffy and thick. A joy to sit on. Better than a regular blanket. It also holds it’s shape—stays where it’s placed. The golden retriever loved it too!! Well worth the price. Very comfy spot for your baby to play.

The design pattern for a new born baby is nice, and the sticky part at the back is true to be fixed at wooden floors which I have. But the cushioning is not enough for a baby who is 4 months old or older. You could heard the head pounding on the floor as my grandchild started lifting her head up. The material doesn’t smell. Easy to fold and put away. It’s washable to remove lint. Is good to lay baby on their back on the floor for stretching and with mother bounding to the side.

So glad I bought this for my daughter’s play yard. Nice and soft. Prevents her falling and hurting herself and she can rest comfortably if she gets tired. Easy to wash in the machine. I love it

This is perfect for the top of my new playpen that I bought on here. I put this on a hardwood floor, so I also purchased a thick grey mat to go under the playpen. It has enough cushioning with both of these on a hard floor. You may be able to get away with just this, if it's on a thick soft rug, vice a hard floor. I'm speaking about children that are just starting to crawl or walk. If they are older, I would think this on top would be perfect.

Luv the the colors and its definitely slip resistant. However, its not as thick as it states in the description.

We have 3 dogs so they track in dirt from outside a lot. We didn’t just want our son playing on the (dirty) rug. We put this down whenever he plays and put all of his toys on it and fold it back up when we’re not using it to keep it clean. It is easy to wash though- directions are included. It also has really good padding, so if your little one is prone to falling backwards, they won’t be slamming their head on the hard floor.
