Not much to say here, it does exactly what it says on the tin (tube)! Like any other sealant it works well into whatever you're sealing, for me it was the flue pipe of the log burner. It does smell pretty strong so try not get it on your skin. A good solid black colour to match the log burner. The only problem I really have is that I don't need whole a tube and some sealants can eventually dry out in the tube before you need to reapply. Photos show it still going strong after a year.

Great exactly as described

Leaving a review for the Everbuild black heat resistant silicone. I have used this for the last 4 years on my multi fuel stove and it works really well. I have a stove in my workshop and used this originally to seal a little gap in the glass of the door. 4 years later it's still exactly the same! The fire cement that went around where the flue meets the top of the stove has failed 3 times in that 4 years and started letting smoke into the shop. So I decided to grab another tube of this and seal around the flue. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's sealed it up perfectly. Its touch dry in an hour but I left it a good 20 hours before lighting the fire just to make sure it had fully cured. Seems to adhere really well too and allow for movement!

I have used this to seal around the stove flue and more recently extensively around the Aga. Even used it to bead between the work surface and the Aga top. It is easy to use though it is best not to try to do this while the surface this is applied to is hot. It does appear to have very good heat resistance characteristics and easily stands up to the temperatures in the top oven of the Aga which gets very hot. It cures well but strangely cures slowly in the nozzle of the tube, so it can be used again when other sealing silicon would have long set and hardened up. Very pleased with this product

Not used yet but if it does what itis supposed to do then excellent product good quality and value for money
