Great for devices that have a proprietary connector or fixed length cables
My Shokz headset came with a charging cable that has a proprietary connector on one end that connects to the headset and a USB-A connector on the other end that connects to a charging block. The charging cable is short, so I had to place my headset on the floor close to the charging block to charge. This extension cable allows me to place my headset on top of my desk to charge. Without it, my headset would still be charging on the floor. This extension cable is also good for short cables permanently attached to a charging station.
