Gentle Lather Shampoo, No Fragrance Added, 8 Fl oz. Cleansing Curly Hair Shampoo, Vegan, Sulfate Free Shampoo

I can barely smell the fragrance, which I personally like. It by no means does a deep clean of your hair and scalp, but it's extremely gentle and does not leave hair greasy. My hair is naturally very oily and frizzy and this does a great job of removing oil without stripping my scalp. This is my mid-week go to.

Great shampoo for temperamental, dry, fine yet numerous, color-treated and protein-sensitive 3C/3B curls! I have a naturally oily scalp with rapid build-up and work out intensely most days, so I needed a shampoo that would cleanse my scalp thoroughly and remove excess product (leave-in and mousse) without drying out my lengths! This does that nicely and leaves me with a clean but not parched feeling. I haven’t noticed any color loss or fading from pretty frequent use, no negative effects on vibrancy of color or highlights. (Sometimes I even do a double cleanse; it makes more suds once you add more water) My sensitive skin appreciates the unscented version! On deep-clean days I pair this shampoo with the Christophe Robin salt scrub for nice results, followed by the Jessi’s Curls Shea conditioner mixed 75:25 with the Deep Conditioning mask for a longer treatment. My hair is loving it!!!

This is a lo-poo product, meaning to use on a day when the goal is not to do a full wash, which can dry out your hair. Il This shampoo is very gentle, there are not a lot of suds, so it may feel strange at first if you’re not used to it. But it does the necessary gentle wash that your hair needs for that day. I find the smell really pleasant!

I love ALL the Jessicurl products. I haven't found any other organic curly-girl product line that I like as much. Not only is it organic, you can get it scent-free. I happen to like the Citrus-Lavender because it smells real, not chemical-y, but several other Jessicurl products I order scent free and they are WONDERFUL. If you are a curly, go to the Jessicurl site to get tips for managing curly hair, the proper way to use the conditioners and stylers, and descriptions of the entire product line - they have a full line available of shampoos, conditioners, and style products for different grades of curly. (Can you tell I'm a big fan?!?)

Not really worth the price, but saw decent results on my hair. Nothing life-changing though, if you're considering investing in a good quality shampoo I'd keep looking.

Jessicurl has great products, great customer service... I emailed with a question and got a very detailed, honest answer right away. I really really like this shampoo. I have naturally curly hair and couldn't figure out why it started feeling gross years ago. Finally, recently after much research, I realized I needed to use natural products. And no glycerin, no sulfates, no silicones, no aloe vera. But I couldn't do straight conditioner wash either. This shampoo is so very gentle. It didn't strip my hair like my other "gentle" cleansing shampoos. It cleaned my hair of build up and gave me a fresh slate. The unscented is what I chose because I had ordered some samples from their website and its what my hair liked. They do have scented if you wanted that. Their products are awesome and you should try the samples. You get so many free, then you can buy samples for like $1.50 or around that. And it's a generous sample! Thank you Jessicurl!

I've tried a lot of unscented shampoos, and this is the best one I've found for my 2c/3a curls. Highly recommend Confident Coils too (paired with a good mousse).

The product smells great and my hair looks stunning. I have long thick hair that’s extremely hard to tame. My hair will always have a little friz so I don’t care anymore, but this product really defines my curls. For the best results GET EVERYTHING! Get the shampoo, deep conditioner, and styling gel. And follow the insructions! It’s a little bit of a long process but it’s so worth it. Also as a little bonus, get a special type of pillow case that will protect your curls when you go to bed.

This product is one of my "holy grails". My hair is very long, dry, fine, fizzy, unruly, low porosity, and prone to knots. So, I need to be careful as to what product I use to wash it. First off, the smell is great, and the texture is like a light cream. It works best if you ensure your hair is very wet first and foremost. For a low-poo shampoo, it lathers surprisingly well. You will get the best results if you put it on your ends first, ensuring it stays there for some time, and you scrunch it in repeatedly because it makes the rest of your routine easier. It's very gentle on your scalp. One might object to the cost. However, you end up using less and needing to wash your hair less frequently. So - in the end - you actually save money. Because it respects your hair so much and doesn't have proteins, if you have low porosity hair, your hair will feel nourished, and you can skip the conditioner and go straight to your curl cream or nourishing mousse. I've used it for months now - and it has never failed me.

This is the worst shampoo I've ever used. I had to use a ridiculous amount of shampoo and still got very little lather. I would never order this again. I am allergic to all fragrances so am limited to what shampoos I can use. I really liked the "no nothing" brand but I noticed that amazon no longer sells it.

Incredible awesome for my fine but thick curly hair… Worth every penny!
