What Are The Nutritional Facts?

There is no iron due to the non-stick surface and they are not made out of iron like a cast iron skillet!

These are not safe to use in any setting. The pots and pans produce harmful fumes that will fill up your entire apartment with a burnt plastic smell that lingers for days. I would expect Amazon to recall this product.

Would you recommend these for a couple getting their first apartment?

Yes, boyfriend and I have used these for 2 years. The nonstick works great and pans have lasted. The only issue I've had is the large skillet does not have a lid that fits so you would have to get one elsewhere. These are advertised as not dishwasher safe, but I ran mine through the dishwasher before seeing that and there's nothing wrong with them sooo... Definitely recommend for anyone trying to get good quality for a cheaper price

what is better non stick or stainless steel

I have a set of Revere Ware stainless steel, made in Clinton, Illinois and Rome, New York that I purchased in the 70's. I then got some new-fangled, non-stick Teflon. Until it scratched. I learned it then leaks chemicals into my food so I got some stuff that says I can use metal and scrubbies on it. Until it scratched. Chemical leakage again, so I started using more of my USA-made cast iron, seasoned them well, used steel wool (no soap) to clean off stuck-on food, and I got the bonus of added iron in my food. Listening to commercials, I then bought a GREEN frying pan that's guaranteed not to stick. It's ok but did stick and got scratched. Probably chemicals in my food again, as well as a white pan I bought. So I started using my Revere Ware stainless; I don't use soap on the inside unless I absolutely need to, I can soak them, use steel wool, scrape with a metal spatula, use Easy-Off if I really burn stuff on, and it's as good as new! Food rarely sticks and I use little oil to coat the bottom unless a recipe says 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so. I say buy a good brand of stainless with handles that are welded or riveted on, and you'll have them to hand down to your grandkids! I'm 70 and got these when I was 23! They have copper clad bottoms for... I don't know why! I think heat distribution. P.S. I remember they were $89 for 12" & 8" pans, 1-1/2, 2, & 4 qt sauce pans, the larger having a steamer (never knew you put veges in that!) and lids for all. I have picked up oddball pieces in thrift stores, too! Go clean, go stainless!

I LOVE these. Awesome. I can easily hear something up and it never sticks to the pan. Beautiful, beautiful, set of pans. Really love these. Cooks everything beautifully. Nothing sticks! I can finally make omelettes without them sticking to the pan! I highly recommend these. All 3 sizes that are in the set are just what I wanted.

Damaged at delivery but the pans still work

I got mine today but one was dented. Not like they were super expensive but a dent is a dent. I'm kinda out in a rural area and it's not worth it to send it back. Other than that, the pans themselves are pretty nice for the price. I still cooked with the dented one. Nothing stuck and they came packaged nice but just in the box with stuffing, making the dent more annoying because how is it boxed like that. I feel like I maybe got an a set that was returned.

Es pronto para opinar, pero tienen muy buena pinta. Son muy ligeras, el antiadherente está muy bien. De momento van perfectas y de tamaño genial. Espero que duren un tiempecito, porque calidad precio parecen bastante buenas.

Este año he gastado mucho en sarténes, sobre todo en sartenes de teflón que no duran ni ofrecen lo que prometen. Decidí comprar estos ya que todos los demás productos de amazonbasics me han satisfecho. El caso es que llevo un par de meses usando estos sartenes y estan muy bien, procuro no usarlos a fuego alto sino medio y bajo, al momento nada se les pega aunque si uso unas gotitas de aceite. En cuanto a la limpieza siempre la hago en frío y no dejo que los restos de comida sigan por mas de unas horas sobre los sartenes. Para la limpieza recomiendo una fibra suave y un jabón que no sea muy abrasivo. Al momento los sartenes están excelentes y espero que asi sigan pero si me gustaría recalcar que muchas veces es mas importante el bueno y uso y cuidado que se les dé a los sartenes ya que por buena que sea su calidad no van a durar sino se les usa conforme el fabricante sugiere.
