Very Good Quality shell, Nice Matt Finish and High Quality Print.
It was easily assembled and had a few spare screws and springs, the screwdrivers worked but I was worried about striping the screws a few times, they did the job but id list them as a disposable thing. The rubbers and shoulder springs work well and the buttons and case are all very nice feeling with no sharp edges etc. The print is very high quality and doesn't seem like it will be fading any time soon. The finish is more matt than my original sp shell, my only gripe would be that the battery compartment cover is held on so tightly without a screw I had to pry it off, not really an issue as I will rarely be going into there but worth mentioning. A note for re-shelling: most guides I followed didn't mention this but the volume slider plastic may be built into the switch itself and thus nonreplaceable, meaning this is the only button on the new shell that's not white. Some volume sliders have replaceable plastic and a white one is included with the kit, you can simply remove the old plastic with a light pull. Be warned however if the plastic is built in and you forcefully remove it you will destroy the volume slider as the pins that control voltage will be destroyed, you would have to then remove the slider and solder a new slider to the board (If you can even get a new one) Have fun gaming, Retro nerds :)
