Leaves my hair shiny!

This stuff smoothes my hair like nothing else. The ingredient doing most of the work is AMODIMETHICONE, and I can’t find it in many products other than this one. (It’s the same ingredient used in the mini conditioner in box dye/bleach packets)

L’Oreal’s Glycolic Gloss Conditioner feels like one of those products you don’t expect much from, and then halfway through rinsing you realise something is different. The texture is lightweight but really silky - almost like a serum turned into a conditioner - and it spreads easily without that heavy, waxy feel some “shine” products have. What I noticed most is how instantly smooth the hair feels. It gives that slippery, glossy finish while you rinse, but once it’s dry the shine looks more like healthy hair rather than coated hair. The lengths look a bit clearer and more reflective, almost as if the surface has been polished. It doesn’t weigh the hair down, which surprised me because anything “gloss” usually flattens fine hair. Instead, it leaves everything soft, light, and with this slightly reflective sheen that makes even tired ends look fresher.
