This review is for PUR Gum | Aspartame Free Chewing Gum | 100% Xylitol | Natural Spearmint Flavored Gum, 55 Pieces (Pack of 3). I got 2 of the 3-pack at the time because it was cheaper to do so than to get a 6-pack. Of course, the next day the 6-pack was cheaper lol. Anyway, this is great xylitol gum and not overly expensive like Zellie’s. I take 2 (which is one serving meaning 2g of xylitol) after “most” meals because it’s supposed to be good for my oral health. I chew one piece at a time for a couple minutes to prolong the sweet flavor instead of popping both into my mouth together. I like chewing these because they don’t harden up like some gums do. They stay soft throughout and I often forget and chew them for 15-20 minutes at a time. Anyway, I did the math and compared the PUR gum to other 100% xylitol gums out there and this one was a clear winner to me for the same benefits. I would totally recommend this gum and I like that it’s aspartame free! I’d give it a 5.0/5.0 - 03/20/2026.

I’ve been trying to cut artificial sweeteners out of my daily routine, and finding a good chewing gum has honestly been harder than expected. Most gums taste fine at first but are loaded with aspartame or questionable additives. PUR Gum has been a really pleasant surprise. First of all, the ingredient list is refreshingly simple. No aspartame, no artificial sweeteners — just 100% xylitol. If you care about dental health, you already know xylitol is a big plus. I actually started chewing this after meals instead of reaching for sugary mints, and it feels like a much smarter habit. The natural spearmint flavor is clean and not overpowering. It’s not that sharp, chemical mint that burns your mouth — it’s smooth, fresh, and lasts longer than I expected. The flavor doesn’t disappear after 30 seconds like some “healthy” gums do. Texture-wise, the gum has a nice chew and doesn’t turn rubbery. It also doesn’t stick to dental work, which is a huge win if you have fillings or crowns. The pack of 3 is great value. I keep one pack in my car, one at my desk, and one at home. The pieces are individually easy to grab, and the packaging is practical and clean. Overall, this is one of those products where Amazon’s Choice actually makes sense. If you’re trying to be more mindful about what you consume — or just want a gum that tastes good without the junk — this is absolutely worth it. I’ve already reordered and don’t plan on going back to regular gum. Highly recommended.

I read the reviews after ordering, and felt I’d made a mistake judging by the constant complaints about the flavour not lasting. I prepared myself for the disappointment and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this gum at all! (I ordered the Spearmint flavour.) The flavour is refreshing, I can feel the spearmint going all the way down to my stomach, and it lasts and lasts for me, so I am happy, having read the benefits of xylitol and seeing it recommended by YouTube dentists like Dr Ellie. I definitely recommend this flavour and will be buying more in the future. 165 pieces should last me a while as I am using the recommended 5 a day. Love the fact they contain no Aspartame! One other thing that I have seen repeatedly complained about is the fact that people are expecting the gum to be made of 100% xylitol! If the ingredients were 100% xylitol, it wouldn’t be gum, it would just be xylitol crystals! The 100% they are referring to is the sugars, no added sweeteners, just 100% xylitol! The xylitol makes up 67% of the total ingredients, which is good news as the dentists recommend 66% / 67% strength. Don’t complain about genuine products made by genuine manufacturers. Use your common sense.

The flavour is super strong and minty. I prefer the taste to the unhealthy gum. Unfortunately taste doesn’t last as long. I love that it has no sugar or aspartame, that’s super important for me. I have no problem paying a bit more for healthy products. However I find the price comparable when buying the multi pack. Each package has 55 pieces so it’s actually a pretty good value. The gum is the same size as regular gum. It has a great texture but after about 30 minutes or so it looses its firmness. That’s not a big problem because the taste isn’t very strong at that point anyway so it’s time to spit it out.
