FANTASTIC elipical foot exercises machine for my 86 year old cousin, who I care for. The velcro helps hold feet in place while exercising. She needed ongoing exercises for her weak legs. Easy to operate with a remote. So don't loose or damage the remote control. Video wouldn't attach! It's on YouTube as Senior Exercising with Leg Disability.

It worked as described. But Mother-in-law wouldn't use it so gave it away to a sister-in-law recovering from knee surgery.

I bought this for my husband who has RLS, sometimes he just has to move his legs, he would get up and walk around the house until the sensations eased. Now he can relieve the symptoms while sitting watching his favorite TV shows. I use it too because it relaxes me. Great buy!

The RESISTANCE mode did not work. I just opened the box, plugged it in, and started with resistance mode. Didn't move. Not even the time function or speed. These only worked in SPEED mode. Not clear on if this mode moves automatically with resistance or not. To my understanding, it moves like auto but with higher resistance so you're not just spinning in circles fast. The plug is also a bit short depending on where you want to plug it in, you will most likely need an extension plug. It's also a bit on the heavy side for an elderly person, so just know they may need a little help with setup where it will most likely stay. I'd say it's roughly 8 - 10 pounds. The straps are a handy touch though. Most other machines didn't have it, which is why I chose this one. It's for my dad who is paraplegic, so it can hold his feet in place while it moves. The circle diameter is about 6" roughly. I think about 6.5"-7" would give a better range of motion (sitting on a standard height padded dining room chair, not barstool). If you want the person to actually benefit from this, sitting upright and not sitting back is better. Remote comes with a lithium battery, but I waited about 5 days for it to arrive and am very disappointed. I contacted the seller, so let's see how they handle this since you can't return it the traditional Amazon way.

I like the automatic mode. Now, I could use the pedals while I am on my wheelchair. It will improve my circulation.

Works great for someone sitting on a couch or chair looking to exercise their legs.
