I purchased this gimbal to take action footage of runners and training highlights for clients. The gimbal is incredibly sturdy and has pretty much every feature needed to take professionally stabilized footage. It has 3 axis stabilization as well as the ability to center and follow an object. The included carbon fiber monopod with tripod foot is lightweight and works great to place the gimbal on the ground to take ground footage. Many times, I'm following my clients and recording their movement. The footage would be shaky; this gimbal gets the video rock solid and I'm able to publish the professional footage that clearly shows my client's improvement through their training. There are some things to keep in mind. This is a professional gimbal and has a barrage of features that you can play with. I've only only used a handful that enabled me to take photo and videos while on a trail run - stabilization, pan, tilt, follow, etc. The gimbal isn't intended for a DSLR. I mounted my DSLR to see if it would work and there was just not enough clearance to properly mount it. My phone and action camera easily fit onto the camera. The mount is well thought out and doesn't accidentally press on the side buttons on your phone (see picture). One thing that annoyed me was the set screw for the mount. It requires an allen key (hex) to tighten. I ended up replacing this set screw with a common tripod mount set screw that doesn't require the hex tool to tighten. All in all, the gimbal is incredibly sturdy and produces professional quality stabilized video. There are more features that I would ever need and the included monopod is convenient. It's now my standard tool for taking action video for my running clients.

Ive had a lot of gimbals, and this hands down puts everybody to shame. Its got the features of a larger camera gimbal, but at the size for a cell phone. I absolutely LOVE the digital handle with all the options and controls. It helps get lower shots and just a completely different level of motion with this setup. The arms are strong and very responsive. Good battery life and all the features you'd expect from a higher end gimbal. At the end of the day, this has everything you could ever ask for and more from a cell phone gimbal. Charging and syncing is easy. Feiyutech never disappoints and this is another win in their column! Even their case has been upgraded, the opposite side now has a velcro strap to hold in anything you need, without having to create a slot or worrying about it hitting the gimbal.

This gimbal has a lot of power for holding midweight camera rigs. I’ll just be using iPhone on this using its included bracket and it’s SOOO smooth. And quiet! You don’t hear the motor whine like others. I would recommend this.

👨🏽‍💻Siempre he querido tener un estabilizador en condiciones, con un amplio abanico de funciones y movimientos, que pudiese usar con diferentes dispositivos como cámaras y móviles y que estuviese a la última en cuanto a tecnología. Este modelo me pareció una buena opción por su calidad y diversidad de accesorios. 📦Viene en una caja de cartón, en cuyo interior encontramos perfectamente embalado el estuche del equipo y sus accesorios. 👷🏽‍♂La calidad de construcción y el nivel de accesorios es lo primero que llama la atención al desembalar y tocar el estabilizador por primera vez. Los mecanizados y acabados de toda la construcción son muy buenos, de primera marca de tecnología. Tiene accesorios para móvil, action cam y cámara sin espejo, y para conectar todos estos por cable. Además viene con un mango alargador de carbono y un flash led de relleno. Cuando empiezas la tarea de nivelar los ejes, sale todo muy natural y se va realizando poco a poco sin mucho problema. La suavidad de operación es destacable. La calidad de las levas, las ruedas y los cierres rápidos es muy alta. La pantalla se opera fácil y las opciones de control parecen todas en el sitio, a falta de extenderse uno en el uso del día a día. La app de móvil, se conecta automáticamente y sin ningún problema al estabilizador, actualiza firmware de los diferentes sistemas y permite controlar remotamente, con el giroscopio del móvil o con un joystick virtual, así como cambiar una serie de parámetros. No acierto a invertir los ejes aunque está la opción para ello y es un hábito que tengo en el eje vertical. Aunque mi cámara sin espejo es antigua y no conecta vía wifi o bluetooth, se puede gestionar el disparador vía cable a la conexión de micrófono. Incluso desde la app del móvil remotamente. La estabilización es buena y la suavidad cuando se opera correctamente y conociendo los límites del aparato, aportando una considerable mejora en la estabilidad y fluidez de la realización de las tomas. Es el objetivo final. Como extra, los seguimientos por inteligencia artificial cuando se usa un móvil, mediante gestos, permite auto-operar la grabación, dando opciones a creadores de contenido para ser autónomos en diversos escenarios. 🙋🏽‍♂️En conclusión, un estabilizador que, por calidad, ajustes y opciones nada tiene que envidiar al resto de opciones que podemos encontrar en el mercado. C'est un excellent matériau , il fait bien le travail. Par défaut, je dirais qu'il ne se connecte tout simplement pas bien aux appareils photo plus anciens. La stabilisation est bonne et la fluidité lorsqu'il est correctement utilisé et en connaissant les limites de l'appareil, ce qui permet d'améliorer considérablement la stabilité et la fluidité de la prise de vue. Il est livré dans une boîte en carton, à l'intérieur de laquelle se trouvent la mallette d'équipement et ses accessoires parfaitement emballés. J'ai un Canon et il ne se connecte que via des câbles aux appareils photo sans miroir modernes.

Questo prodotto mi ha colpito andando ben oltre le mie aspettative. Partiamo innanzitutto dalle caratteristiche tecniche: è la versione più “piccola” dello Scorp, prodotto altamente professionale, ed un’evoluzione della prima versione, inglobando la funzionalità di AI Tracking del volto o degli oggetti. L’incredibile vantaggio di questo Mini 2 sta nella maggiore portabilità, mantenendo caratteristiche simili al suo fratello maggiore. Permette infatti di gestire dispositivi fino ad un massimo di 1,2Kg, il che significa poter utilizzare fotocamere anche professionali con lenti importanti, senza problemi. Ma il vero vantaggio, ed uno dei motivi per cui l’ho acquistato, è la possibilità utilizzarlo anche con Smartphone ed Action cam. Come vedete dalle foto, l’installazione è davvero semplice una volta capito il meccanismo. Anche il bilanciamento si riesce ad ottenere facilmente bloccando gli assi singolarmente. Bisogna perderci un pò di tempo la prima volta, soprattutto con le camere. Per lo smartphone il setup è praticamente immediato. Passiamo ora all’esperienza di utilizzo. Innanzitutto la presa, incredibilmente ergonomica, permette inquadrature e riprese stabili anche mentre si è in movimento…semplicemente incredibile. La totale libertà di rotazione degli assi permette di cambiare posizione senza rischiare di spostare il focus sull’oggetto che stiamo inquadrando, e le riprese risultano fluide e semplici da realizzare. Il piccolo schermo touch è il vero plus: ho avuto altri gimbal e per effettuare delle riprese particolari dovevo ricordare a memoria le sequenze di tasti, perdendo magari l’attimo giusto. Ma qui non serve, perché ogni funzione è selezionabile dal piccolo schermo e perfettamente leggibile. Bisogna studiare i menù con calma, ma una volta fatto tutto è immediato. In alternativa si può utilizzare l'app, che ho trovato altrettanto ben realizzata, seppur non necessaria per registrare da smartphone (va bene utilizzare anche altre), ma utile da avere per aggiornamenti e per modificare alcuni settaggi. AI Tracking: due cose mi hanno letteralmente stupito. La prima è la genialità con la quale il piccolo sensore è stato inglobato nel corpo dello stabilizzatore. In questo modo non servono accessori magnetici che si sganciano al primo movimento o che rischiamo di perdere. È lì, sempre pronto per essere utilizzato. Il secondo sono le gesture, studiate perfettamente e riconosciute praticamente in qualsiasi situazione. Mi è piaciuta soprattutto la possibilità di spostare la posizione del soggetto in angoli diversi dell’inquadratura, migliorando l’effetto della ripresa. E poi la libertà di spostarsi (se fissato sul treppiedi) senza la preoccupazione di uscire dall’inquadratura. Per me questa è la vera funzione vincente. Accessori: acquistando questo kit non vi servirà praticamente più nulla. Adattatori per Camere, Action Cam, Smartphone. Ogni genere di cavetto, adattatori e supporti per ogni genere di accessorio. Conclusioni: va detto, non è un oggetto per tutti, richiede una buona dose di pratica, soprattutto nei primi utilizzi. Ma il risultato finale è davvero senza paragoni. Dopo aver provato stabilizzatori di vari brand e fasce di prezzo, posso affermare di essere davanti ad un prodotto di altissimo livello. Brava FeiyuTech!

I love the gimble's compact size and how well it handles the smartphone. The AI tracking works surprisingly well, and the quick install system is super convenient for switching between vertical and horizontal shots. The magic wheel takes a bit of practice, but gives a lot of control. My only minor gripe is that the handle angle takes some getting used to. Overall, a great stabilizer packed with features.
