This was my 2nd purchase from this company. I liked the first set of socks so much I came back for more. I recommend sizing up with these. While the compression is important, you still don't want to have to struggle to get them on or up to your knees. I wear a size 10 W shoe, and my calves can go anywhere from 19 inches to 21.5 inches, depending on the day. I bought my first set a size smaller (4x) and sized up for this set (5X), and find I get more length with the larger size. Both sizes go over my calf area with ease, and still have a firm compression, but with the smaller size, 4X, I found them resting just under my knee, and tugging didn't give me that extra inch I wanted. That's the main reason I sized up this time to a 5X. Also with the 5X I am noticing more toe room. In either size, I've had no issues with them rolling or slipping down. The quality of the textiles is great. There is no pilling, and I have washed and worn them several times. I do not toss them in the dryer, preferring to hang dry. I find this works best with anything made with some elastics, so it's common for me to hang dry a lot of my garments. I opted for basic colors simply because I prefer solids to patterns, and I like my fashion to match. The first set I bought was the blue, black, and gray, and the 2nd set is all black. They are all similar in thickness and stretch. They all have gray colored heel and toe reinforcements, so they are not entirely one color. I've seen ads on social media prompting people to purchase other brands with 'buy one, get two free' enticements, but with them you need to spend more, and also pay shipping. So these are an excellent value for the money, and are less than the others, which allows you to purchase another item to meet your Amazon free shipping quota. For example I bought a couple of tins of herbal teas to get to the desired amount, so now I can wear my new compression socks and enjoy a cup of designer tea while I type up this review. Pretty sweet. They arrived within a few days, and are very much worth buying. I have absolutely noticed a difference in the comfort and size of my legs and the medical benefit of wearing compression socks, especially since I do a lot of desk-work. The pain associated with lymphedema can be debilitating, but these socks are helping with that as well. I feel the 'hug' ...almost like a massage. It's nicer. And quite frankly, since my legs have always been 'plus sized', even as a youngster I was never able to wear knee-socks, so I am enjoying that experience as well. Try these.

These socks are awesome! They give enough compression to help with my leg swelling but are stretchy enough I can get them on easily without assistance. I got the 4XL ones (gray) to use as liners under my velcro compression gear and 6XL ones (blue) to go over to help keep everything in place & clean. They come all the way up to my knees and stay in place for 10+ hours a day. They are not very warm if that is something that matters to you, but these have been by far the most comfortable and functional compression socks I've been able to find.

Great for swelling, nice firm weight, well made, and the 3 pack is a great value. Comfortable to wear all day and night.

I have wide calves, and these are advertised as such a fit. They are and I also have thick ankles and these fit better than any other compression socks I have ever bought and used. the price makes them a bargain compared to other hose that aren't even as good as these are. I found no skin problems with them, and they don't bind up cutting off circulation.

For me these socks are amazing! I have been wearing them for years now. I don't have swelling in my legs anymore, however, these socks help tremendously with my neuropathy in both feet. I tend to wear these day and night for relief. I mean it did not take the neuropathy away but it definitely helps with the pain. Without them my feet really hurt. They go on easily not like other compression socks and they are very comfortable. They stay up to my knees and never slide down. I never want to be without them! They're very comfortable and a good price!

The stocks were absolutely perfect. The feel, the stretch all of it including the price. Mom was needing some desperately per her doctor. She was so reluctant even telling me just cancel the order. She is beyond happy with them. Said they make her legs feel so good. Mom is 84 and dealing with sudden swelling. She describes it as just like the baby bear would...they are just right. She wears a size 9 narrow in shoe and normally has slender legs but because of the swelling I purchased the 6x.

These were a gift for my husband, who is battling edma in his legs, ankles & feet. He says they fit nice and he likes the top cuff for not digging into his leg so bad and says the toe area is nice as well as there is little to no compression on his toes, which means they are not squeezed all together and on top of one another. Basically - a lot less toe pain & discomfort.

I purchased 3 pairs of these line pattern. They fit perfectly. They are made wth 98% nylon and 2% spandex. I tried buying more but they are a thinner material and are made with 95% polyester and 5% spandex. I wish I could get more that fit. I tried 3 times but they do not fit Rate 5 for the one that fits 1 for those that do not fit

the only socks that fit my calfs ordered 6xl,reordered a second box and was able to order 5xl they fit,easy to put on and are comfortable highly recommend ,ordered a 3 box,was able to order 4xl,tighter,still easy on/off,fits great
