Great box for sticking my electrics in

Very well made enclosure, extremely pleased.

Really nice box with which I replaced an old one with the unreliable antiquated plastic screws at each corner. This box closure is super with scope to padlock it as well and I find it much easier to access inside than with the older other design. The board inside gives scope to mount adapters and sockets as needed and can also be removed. It comes with blocks which can be used for mounting the box but I didn't need to use them. The glands supplied were adequate but I wanted ones of a smaller size with seals so bought others. The base is easily cut through with a spade bit for tidy fitting. I really like the box which has been up and exposed to the weather for 6 months without issue. But lets be fair it is not exactly cheap and at this price point glands with inner seals would have been nice. For those reasons I gave a 4 rather than 5 star rating

Good price and quick to dispatch gets my vote. Used for a fused spur to service two outdoor cams and found the box was well made, easy to set up and on checking after heavy rain, found it to be bone dry.

Perfect for our Govee light project

I used this plastic junction box as a way to hold a small, rechargeable 12 volt lithium phosphate deep cycle battery and electrical components and connections to make it into a power bank for charging cell phones, GoPro cameras, rechargeable flashlights and other devices. The ABS plastic is durable and has a waterproof gasket around the lid. I like that it’s IP67 waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about taking it out in the rain. The box has a removable mounting plate with small holes all over it for attaching components by either using a small screw or a zip tie. I enlarged two holes into one hole to allow the zip tie to fit. The box comes with four metal mounting brackets in case you want to attach it to a wall (see photo). It also comes with two adjustable grommets in case you need to run wires into/out of the box. When tightened down, the grommets shrink down on the wire for a tight seal, but I would still recommend using some silicone sealant. I like that the box also has the ability to be locked with a small padlock or zip tie. That may be all that’s needed to keep small kids from getting into the box. I like that there are other sizes available. I definitely have other projects in mode where I will need them. I give these boxes a thumbs up. I sure hope the review was helpful. Thank you.
