Overall: The build quality is very nice. Powder-coated and heavy duty. Things to know about install: I would NOT advise mounting this to the wall without a backboard as shown in the photos. I used a 1x12 cut to 54.5”. The installation hardware expansion sleeves are meant for installing in concrete not drywall. The mounting brackets are spaced 48” apart on one set of holes, so you can mount those to studs with 5/16x3” lag screws through the backboard. The other set of holes for each arm I would suggest some toggle bolts to help prevent drywall blowout. They will also be supported by the backboard spanning 4 studs. Follow the instruction height measurements for the bar and pulley placement, if not you will end up like me with a cable that cannot reach the weight pin. I installed the bar a 1/2” higher for headroom and installed the pulley lower than the instructions. As you can see from the photos the cable does not reach the pin, but I fixed that with the carabiners that came with it. This left me with no extra carabiners for clipping the attachments, but we purchased a separate kit that came with some. Attachments: The rope that comes with the kit has the rubber orange ends and is longer than a standard rope attachment. The straight bar is also longer than most and has squishy rubber handles. The blue rope attachment is nice for chest workouts. Very well made and solid and holes are exactly 48” apart - getting ready to install, but it really seems to be quality and was a snap to assemble

High Quality, welds seem like laser, and very precision, and the sliding tolerances are very nice. But... a more advanced DIYer will need to install. As Henry T. stated, the mounting bolt holes are too wide for a stud. I had to install wide, flat cleats (2'6" boards around 2' long) lengthwise, against my studs, to have a wide enough surface to mount the 8 lag screws into something solid. I did wall mount, not ceiling. Even on a 12''6" Glulam which I have in my garage ceiling, the bolt holes are too long, would screw into weak wood on the edges of the Glulam and again, would require a wide, stable cleat. For that reason, since I am on sheetrock on my wall, which can crush, I also needed cleats to spread the load, for sure. Seems sturdy and does not rattle or wobble.

This item is very professional and the quality is quite good, but it is more suitable for use on a pull-up bar mounted on the ceiling because its straps, even when adjusted to the shortest position, are still too long to be used on a regular pull-up bar. Besides that: the project also has some flaws.

I was hesitant to purchase because of the price, but it is worth every cent in steel. Powerfully built, quality finish, provided with clear instructions and several stick on drilling templates to make actual install easy. The included cables and accesories make this a versatil tool for any home gym.

Just put it up. Seems really solid. It extends out from the wall a good distance which is nice for the TRX. Great variety of hand positions. I am really happy with it. Saves on floor space. It is a little heavy to put up without one other person helping hold in place.

This is a great pull up system for a very tall ceilings (13 FT). We would rather by more complex pull up bar with different grips, but they do not sell them because of the tall length. Installation was pretty straightforward, but we had to go to the hardware store to buy additional board to distribute the weight drill and screws. It took us about 4 to 5 hours to install between driving and assembling, absolutely worth the money. Will buy it again if needed! Kids are happy 😁

Heavy duty. A little hot in Florida, because it’s black, but not much can do here. I can use it for any exercises. 100% recommend. I tested with a guy 200 pounds - no issues ;)
