I was hoping that these were of better quality. I have to say that they do work, but only after I squeezed (slightly) the female part of the switch with a pair of needle nose pliers so when I closed these knife switches they made a good connection. If you are going to do as I did with the needle nose, squeeze at the lower part of the female jaws so as to not deform the grasping part. I'm using these with a 18 volt model train set up. Do NOT use these for anything like 110 vac.. house voltage and current.

For the cost, these items are well made, aesthetically good to look at and the kids enjoyed them to this day. (ages 7 to 14). It's perfect for the creation of a working MORSE transmitter

Just what was needed. Simple projects.

Even for 'toy' use, these switches were terribly-made.

I expected these to be pretty bad, but they are not even usable for kids experiments. two out of five of the switch arms were detached, missing rivets. All the others needed repair (bending contacts, tightening screws. At least half of the conducting components are steel, not brass.
