Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Designed for 2025 ROG Xbox Ally X/ASUS ROG Ally/Nintendo Switch 2 / MSI Claw 7 AI+ Hard Shell Carrying Case with Pockets for Accessories Original Charger Storage Bag

I bought this to protect my new ROG Ally because the official case from Asus was overpriced and unimpressive. I've relied on Spigen phone cases for years, and they never disappoint. The same can be said here so far. This case fits the Ally well and includes a little extra wiggle room that should accommodate skins or additional accessories. The shell is rigid with just a little bit of flex, and it has a very satisfying, mildly grippy texture to it. The main zippers feel pretty solid, and they should be fine if you don't yank on them like a gorilla. The included hand strap is a welcome addition, although it attaches via a tiny snap that doesn't exactly inspire confidence. The interior zipper pocket is large enough to keep the OEM power adapter and maybe a pair of earbuds and a cleaning cloth, but there's not much room for anything else. The tiny pocket nestled in the interior pocket is big enough for an Air Tag or some SD cards. Overall, I quite like this case for the price. It's cheaper than the inferior "official" case, and while it's more expensive than a lot of the other aftermarket cases out there, I think it's worth it. Recommended.

First thing is first. I have seen a few reviews complaining that the inside of the pouch does not fit the Ally snugly. That is because this is meant to fit the Ally with an Armor Pro cover installed once Spigen releases one for the Ally. if you look at the other Armor Pro pouches that Spigen has released for the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck you would see that those also have additional space to accommodate the device with a protective cover installed. This is also why the zipper is metal and sits where it does, with a protective cover installed it would not touch the Ally. Now moving on, the build quality of this case is very high. All of the materials they used feel very premium. The storage pocket on the top portion of the case has a ton of space. I can easily fit the stock ROG charger and still have room for other accessories. The wrist strap makes carrying it very easy when your hands are full. It's also very strong and keeps the Ally protected while in my backpack. This pouch is a little on the pricier side but you 100% get what you pay for. I can't recommend this enough.

This is a great case for the rig ally. It fits the ally perfectly. Has enough room for the charger and some small accessories. The case is hard and protective. Glad I bought it for traveling and I just keep the ally in it all the time.

It's bulky and larger than expected. But very good quality. Think twice before you buy. It's huge. Will take up lots of bag space if your intention was to have a travel case for it.

Very well made and durable for sure. Light weight, great design it protects my Tog ally x with total peace of mind….

it fits with my ROG and good case

The immediate reaction is how well this case is made, not a single loose thread, the zippers have not snag, fits my ROG Ally perfectly and can accommodate some accessories. The extra space limitations is it cannot fit my Logitech Triathlon mouse but a battery pack and I have a slim bluetooth keyboard. The only negative I have is that the securing flaps to hold the device is sewed into the side of the case rather than the bottom, which means your device can flop around if you shake the case. This is a minor issue to me as I carry this withing a another bag. I might add that this case is cheaper than the Asus ROG Ally case and far better.

At the time there is really not many options for the ally x, I pre ordered mine and ordered the original ASUS carrying case but even though it says it fits it’s very tight. There was barely any protection so I decided to return it. The spigen case on the other hand looks amazing, feels really sturdy and has a really nice rugged strap. The inside has plenty of room and it has a strap that wraps around the device to keep it secure. There’s also orange bumpers on the inside for even more protection. There’s plenty of room for my anker charger and my AirPods for it. I couldn’t recommend this enough for the rog ally x. It’s what ASUS should have released with the device on launch day.

I already own the Spigen Klasden case for my Switch 2, so I had a good benchmark going into this purchase — and the version for the Xbox Ally/Ally X lives up to expectations. Just like my other Klasden case, this one feels sturdy, well-constructed, and premium without being bulky. The charcoal grey finish looks clean and understated. Internally, it’s clearly designed with the console’s ergonomics in mind. The device sits flush and secure inside the molded shell, without awkward pressure points or movement. There’s also a soft inner flap that covers the screen, which is a great touch — it protects against scratches and gives added peace of mind when transporting it in a bag. This isn’t a large, storage-heavy case designed for carrying multiple accessories. It’s better suited for short trips or everyday protection when you just need the console secured properly. The grey exterior can show dirt over time, but it wipes clean easily. Overall, I genuinely love this case — it does exactly what a good protective pouch should do, without unnecessary bulk or gimmicks.

This Spigen Rugged Armor Case for the ASUS ROG Ally is great, very sturdy and secure and has enough storage space.

Price is a bit higher but worth it. Keeps your Ally safe even fell from table height. Easily fits the Ally, charger, few memory cards and pendrive. Best quality solid built.

J'ai récemment acheté l'étui Spigen Rugged Armor Pro pour ma ROG Ally et je suis globalement satisfait de mon achat. L'étui offre une excellente protection à l'appareil, avec une coque semi-rigide et un rembourrage en mesh de haute qualité1. Il y a beaucoup d'espace de stockage supplémentaire pour les chargeurs, les dongles USB-C, les câbles, les écouteurs ou même une souris de voyage et un clavier pliable1. Cependant, j'ai quelques inquiétudes mineures. La fermeture à glissière métallique du compartiment de stockage supérieur pourrait facilement endommager votre appareil, vous devez donc faire très attention à rentrer la tirette de la fermeture à glissière dans la fermeture à glissière lors de la fermeture1. Le harnais n'est pas connecté au fond de l'étui, ce qui fait que la rog pourrait se balancer. Dans l'ensemble, je recommande l'étui Spigen Rugged à tous ceux qui recherchent un étui de protection pour leur ROG Ally. Assurez-vous simplement de faire attention à la fermeture éclair et au harnais.
