Rainbow Run Ball 92-Pieces Set

My six year old loves it! The examples in the book give a good start. We used side tables piled up to avoid making magnet tile towers which are rather weak above about eight tiles tall. The tubes give strength and structure too. However, he needs daddy to pinch the tubes onto the magnet tiles. Daddy doesn’t mind but it could be an issue for busy Mums and Dads.

We love CONNETIX products, and the Magnetic Tiles Rainbow Ball Run Pack (92 pieces) is another fantastic set. I keep buying these for my nephews because they get so much use out of them—there are endless ways to build and it stays fun for a long time. The colours are bright and beautiful, the pieces feel sturdy, and nothing has broken so far even with lots of play. It’s super versatile, great for creativity and problem-solving, and a brilliant gift. Highly recommended.

What a great add-on to a starter pack! This is fun for the entire family. Whether it is independent play or a joint activity between siblings and parents alike - this is a great investment. In a matter of weeks, I'm in awe of the continued creativity and ingenious designs from just trial and error. It's wonderful to see learning about gravity, design and structure through play. It is incredible to see life lessons like dealing with the collapse of a structure and then the resilience that follows...to rebuild. These are investment pieces...but worth every penny. I would suggest creating a home for the pieces/storage solution before purchase. I use some white canvas baskets that fit perfectly on a shelf...both Amazon purchases and well worth it.
