I like the high amount of DHA &EPA in each serving. Also, the gel caps are so easy to swallow.

Potentially a High Quality Omega-3 Supplement
SHORT REVIEW: This appears to be a potentially high-quality Omega-3 supplement, although I’m not able to independently verify that. Researched Nutritionals (R.N.) describes itself as a research-driven company focused on science-based formulations aimed at specific wellness goals (this one being “optimal health”). Front Row (formerly Fortress Brand Group) was identified to me by the company last year as an authorized Amazon vendor. THE DETAILS Transparency / History: Researched Nutritionals maintains a detailed website describing its products and company background. The company and its leadership are easy to identify, and the CEO has prior experience within the supplement industry. Information about the brand is widely shared through vendor sites, though much of it is promotional in nature. Accountability: I found limited independently verifiable information regarding third-party accountability. In a prior email exchange, the company stated that its manufacturing partners hold NSF certification (or equivalent standards), though I was not able to easily confirm certification tied specifically to this product. Some of their products are described as research-supported, but access to full study details appears limited. Quality: This bottle contains 60 softgels (a 30-day supply). The serving provides 2 grams of fish oil, including 720 mg EPA and 480 mg DHA. The softgels are medium-large but smoothly shaped and easy for me to swallow. The scent is mildly fishy but not unpleasant — reminiscent of dried salmon. The label states the oil is sourced from anchovies and sardines, with fish oil originating from Morocco and Peru. The company reports using high-vacuum molecular distillation to remove contaminants, although I could not locate independent certification confirming this process. About Fish Oil Supplements: While researching this product, I came across several recent discussions suggesting that recommendations for fish oil supplementation have become more nuanced, particularly regarding quality standards and contaminant concerns. Summary: This product presents itself as a high-quality fish oil, but as is often the case with supplements, independent verification can be difficult to obtain. Given the evolving discussion around fish oil use, input from a healthcare provider may be helpful for those considering supplementation. The bottle is dated best by 6/2028; however, since fish oil is delicate, I plan to store it in the refrigerator after opening.

Clean Fish Oil Softgels With No Fishy Aftertaste
Pros: • No fishy burps in my use (a big deal for fish oil) • Softgels are easy to swallow and don’t feel huge • Bottle is simple and clearly labeled • Didn’t upset my stomach when taken with food • Easy daily routine (60 count) Consider: • Like most softgels, they can feel slick if your throat is dry • Results are long-term, so you’re judging tolerance and consistency first I’ve tried enough fish oil over the years to know the main question isn’t “Is it omega-3?” - it’s “Am I going to regret taking this in 20 minutes?” With this Researched Nutritionals Omega-3 Plus, my main focus was how it feels to take daily: taste, aftertaste, and stomach comfort. Taste and aftertaste Good news: I haven’t had fishy burps or that lingering fish taste. That’s usually what makes me abandon a fish oil bottle halfway through, so this was a strong start. Swallowing and daily use The softgels are a manageable size and go down easily with water. I take them with a meal, and I’ve had no stomach irritation. If I take any supplement on an empty stomach, I’m more likely to feel it, so food has been the way to go. Quality and packaging The bottle arrived sealed and the softgels looked uniform and fresh (no weird smell when opening). The label is straightforward and lists EPA/DHA information clearly, which I appreciate when I’m comparing supplements. Functionality (what you can judge early) With something like omega-3, the “benefits” are not an instant-feel product, so early evaluation is mostly about tolerability and consistency. On that front, it’s been easy to stick with and hasn’t caused the common fish oil annoyances. I’m hoping my energy level increases given these are excellent pills at a great price. Overall: If you want an omega-3 supplement that’s easy to take daily and doesn’t come with a fishy aftertaste, this one has been comfortable in my routine. I’ll keep using it and update if anything changes over time.

Good quality, contaminant-free fish oil supplement from a top-tier trusted brand
I really like the Researched Nutritionals brand, and am currently taking four of their supplements, including the Omega 3 Plus. Fish oil supplements can be a mixed bag, because they are usually derived from fatty, strong-tasting and strong-smelling fish that thrive in icy waters, and people often have trouble adjusting to the odor and flavor of the oil, and the occasional gastric reflux that can accompany it. It's also particularly important to buy from a reputable manufacturer, because heavy metal contamination is a concern in this industry, and not all fish oil products are equally trustworthy in terms of purity and efficacy. The Researched Nutritionals product seems to be tolerable in terms of taste, odor and softgel size. I am only taking one capsule a day instead of two, so that may help with the side effects, but this product doesn't seem to cause much if any "fishy burping", and it's apparently derived from Peruvian and Moroccan anchovies and sardines, which are fishes that I don't frequently include in my diet. I do try to eat mackerel, herring and salmon, but I can't always afford wild-caught premium salmon, and the domestic, ranch-raised stuff probably offers minimal health benefits. In terms of value, I think this formula is fairly priced. Many of the Researched Nutritionals' supplements are prohibitively expensive, but fortunately, their Omega 3 Plus fish oil is a happy exception to that rule. I'd recommend this product, and think most people will find the capsules to be large-ish but fairly easy to swallow. The packaging doesn't mention refrigeration, but keeping the contents cold, or at least cool may help with freshness.
