Build like a tank. I owned one for my S23 Ultra, and it's still going strong for 3 years. This S22 Ultra Otterbox case will protect my spare phone. Quality and design are consistent. Adds a little bit of weight, but the S22 is already a heavy phone. The material feels good and is not plasticky. Ruggedness and size are just right. The Holster clip that came with it also fits the S23 Ultra case. The dust cover for the ports and the easy access to the S pen are also convenient. Overall, I am satisfied with the case.

Great quality, solid product as always. Cover fits snug, inner frame fits perfectly. These Otterboxes provide so much protection, I've been able to ignore the ridiculous "upgrade every 2 years" campaign by Samsung and keep my original overpriced (but very functional) S22 Ultra. So sorry Samsung!

Well made, feels solid. I'm glad I have it to protect phone from accidents. I would recommend, much better than the cheap ones.

These are good cases. Good fit and pretty durable all things considered. I'm on my 3rd one due to breakage over the years from drops from high places and snagging it when squeezing through tight places. Just keep in mind they typically only last a couple of years if you work with your hands a lot. If I only worked in an office, they'd probably last longer than the phone just because they are so rugged. One caveat though; dropped from your hand onto the bottom corner by the stylus at the perfect angle will still cause breakage even when brand new. Ask me how I know.

Three years of ownership and countless drops—easily over 30—and my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra remains in perfect, mint condition thanks to the OtterBox Defender. That level of impact resistance is absolutely worth the price; it has saved me from replacing my screen multiple times. ​After heavy, three-year use, the outer layer is where I noticed the degradation: the protective cover for the charger port tore off, a small tear appeared on the bottom left corner, and the on/off button wore out. Despite these cosmetic/functional failures, the core protective function remained flawless. I'm buying my second one today because this is simply the best protection on the market.
