I wrap one around the white leather handle of a handbag with a pattern to keep the handle from getting yellow from hand oils. It's hard to find scarves of this size in solid colors so I was happy I found these. It's made of inexpensive polyester, but that's OK since I wouldn't use an expensive silk scarf for this purpose.

This neck scarf is the right size for using as a handbag accessory. After braiding along the handle, there is enough fabric left over to either let hang on the bag or to tie into a bow. The colors are brilliant, the floral pattern pops on the black background. Each side of the fabric has a silk-like texture and on both sides the colors are bright.
