I have high hopes...
I have used the 1.0 strength in the past and it made me peel like a snake. So I switched to the .5 and it did the same thing. SO FAR, the .25 is working much better on my skin.

Overall Great
This product is a great one. I have been on the hunt for a good retinol cream. It has made my skin look better in just 5 short days. There is a little bit of sensitivity, but I plan to reduce my days to two days a week. This is a great product!

So far, so good. No negative effects, tho no positive effects yet either.
Not sure how to rate this yet. I decided to heed the "go low and slow" advice, and start with the .25% strength (fs full strength). Started with once per week as advised, now moving to twice a week. So far none of the negative effects, but not real noticeable improvement yet, but its only been 2 weeks, aka 2 applications. I'll have to come back and update this in a few months...

After a few uses, I noticed a distinct difference with my wrinkles not seeming as deep and eventually fading.

Great Retinol for beginners!
I have sensitive skin and initially, I applied this incorrectly by putting directly to my skin before moisturizer and felt some burning and irritation. I later tried again, and this time applied moisturizer first and/or mixed with my moisturizer and no more burning. I recommend this for beginners like myself or those that have sensitive skin. I had tried other brands before and had bad reactions to the formulation. I'm very happy with the SkinMedica products. I also use their TNS Serum and enjoy how my skin has improved.
