12V 5A 60W Power Supply Adapter

The adapter that comes with it allows it to easily power any homemade circuitry. I'm powering 12v LED's on my model railroad.

Product works, but as a previous reviewer/purchaser stated and demonstrated in a video, the PS is very slow to respond when first turned on. I'm using it to the supply power to an LED light strip which is controlled by a typical wall switch. There is a VERY noticeable 2+ second delay before the lights turn on. Note: I do not have any other controllers or dimmers in-line, so there is nothing else to influence the delay. I plan to add a motion activated wall switch, so the delay will likely not be noticed by me moving forward. Just be warned the "delay" is real, so "buyer beware" for your intended application. If you do not plan to use the PS in this (i.e. instant on) manner, it works perfectly fine once it is turned on running. I'm using with a ~3.8amp load and so far the PS runs cool and steady.

I am using this to power a remote weather station with data collection. It has a raspberry pi and the weather station connections in a weatherproof box and it just sits there and runs without issue. I am using a a 12VDC to 5VDC step down converter (purchased separately) to power the PI but the weather station runs directly off the 12 volts. The included breakout adapter came in really handy for my particular setup and the supply has worked flawlessly since installation. I am able to keep the supply and connections inside an outbuilding and run just the low voltage outside, with no terminations, up to the box. It works perfectly for my setup.

This is a nice plug with a nice sturdy cord. Got it to replace a 12V adapter for my Pentair pool network connector which was making a terrible high pitched wail, and it was the perfect fit and worked with no issues, and most importantly, no noises. Always nice for a cheap solution to an annoying issue that can be delivered so quickly.

Needed a replacement power adapter for a device that came with a weak one that was starting to fail. This one has been working perfectly since I got it a few months ago. What's really important to me is that this is properly electrically certified for Canada. A lot of cheaper adapters out there cut corners on safety certifications which can be a real hazard. This one has the proper markings and meets Canadian electrical standards which gives me peace of mind using it in my home. The build quality feels solid - the cable is thick and well-made, not flimsy like some budget options. The plug fits securely in the outlet without being loose. The barrel connector on the other end is a good fit too with no wiggling around. Output is stable and consistent. The lamp I'm using it with works just as it should with no flickering or dimming issues. It doesn't get excessively hot during use either which is another good sign of quality components inside. For the price it's a reliable replacement adapter. Does exactly what it's supposed to do safely and consistently. If you need a 12V adapter I'd recommend making sure you get one that's properly certified like this one rather than taking chances with unknown brands that might not meet safety standards.

Perfect! Unfortunately many lamps are sold with very week adaptors. This one is perfect to replace failing ones.
