Looking for a solid, beginner's crossbow that has all the details you need to start out your bow hunting journey? This is the one! Love this bow...solid, good cambers and string pull...easy to load and accurate out of the box. You cannot go wrong with this beginner's bow. Not something I would hunt wild boar with, but for starting out on small game and/or fowl like turkeys....yeah baby! This thing rocks the house!

Seems to be high quality and received a 150 lb. bow instead of the 125 which was offered. Still no problem to pull. Two hand operations did slow me down a bit. Really like the 3-dot scope.

Easy to shoot, great sight and powerful. Great first bow for my preteen.

I have a older version of the recruit but wanted a 2nd one. I’m teaching younger kids in my family to hunt & wanted the older one to hunt on his own plus, it gives me a backup in case something goes wrong w my older one. I especially like this for tree stands since it’s a smaller bow & not bulking in the stand. My 2 favorite upgrades on this crossbow are: The little ball that the keeps your cocking rope in place while hooking your string. The other is the slid out stock if you need it & makes it adjust to fit different shooters. For the price you can’t beat it. I normally shoot at 20 to 30 yards. A good shot will send your arrow straight through. I have killed several deer w the recruit. Highly recommend you put lighted nochs on your arrows to make finding your arrow much easier! Recommend this crossbow.

So far, so good. My brother has the same Xbow so I have nothing but nice things to say about the overall quality. Its light and powerful. The scope for the price point is better than expected but I replaced mine with an older and better scope. Only complaint so far, is a bolt (arrow) broke the first time I shot at the target bag.

Very good crossbow and great price the smallest shoulder stile crossbow very fast and accurate I bought it for my son's Christmas they are small in size and it fits them perfectly it's also comfortable for me I have no complaints at all

With out shooting it yet looks pretty good ,didn’t come with regular quiver mount only side mount which is a bit of a bummer

Bought for my adult son as a birthday present and I’m jealous. Easy to use, accurate and powerful. At 80ft, the bolt can easily pass through 3/4” plywood. Not a child’s toy. You will need proper crossbow targets to handle the impact without breaking bolts (arrows) like we did. Definitely recommend this crossbow.

I have not opened it yet when I do I will write a review I can't wait to unpack it just inside the box I can say it's very heavy when I do unpack you looking forward to tell everyone about my point of view
