Leds last long time.
Absolutely ideal as a third brake light to reduce the likelihood of a tail end crash due to drivers not seeing brake lights. Additionally, because it has LEDs which theoretically last for 10000 hours, it is less likely to fail than the older type bulbs.

But during daylight, it’s barely visible. A shame because it looks quite ‘period’ for older cars.
