Great value based on a 90s classic!
Unlike the currently produced Old Timer 7OT, the 6OT appears to be well made with decent fit and finish. I have included pictures showing it next to a vintage Schrade USA 6-OT to highlight the differences in thickness and bolster shape. The new knife is thinner and lighter and the lanyard hole is much smaller. There is no obvious stainless steel pin in the brass bolster either. I also show it next to a modern Buck 110 Slim Pro knife for comparison's sake, since they are similar designs. For the price, I think this knife is a good value. I wish it came with a leather sheath, but the cordura sheath works nicely with several knives and has a clip so you can easily attach it to a belt, pocket, waistband or whatever. Pretty nice feature!

What a nice knife
Got this on a good sale. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but a very good size. Nice heft, without feeling like a cheap knife that's too heavy. About the weight you would want. Locks back very positive, and won't slip. Good feeling handle with plenty of grip. Nice brass ends. Honestly I don't know why they're selling these this cheap. Nylon case is pretty nice. You have a loop for your belt or a clip that works really well so you don't have to thread it over your belt. Just sliced my wrist open when it slipped. I was working a project with a little bit duller of a knife and switched to this one. Wow this sucker comes sharp right out of the box. Anyway, at least I can still type. If you're on the fence over this knife, get off and buy it.

Buck 110 wannabe
It’s lighter and thinner than a buck 110, blade isn’t centered when folded, lockback button sits proud of the handle, but for the price, it locks open solid and feels good in the hand. It’s a good knife, just not buck quality.

Old Timer 6OT
Great knife for the money $26.50. I also have a 7OT but wanted the 6OT with lanyard hole. In picture, blade has Schrade Super Sharp written on it but does't come that way, just for advertisement I guess, but it is very sharp out of box. So don't expect it to have this writing on blade if you buy one. Also, I had to clean and polish the brass to make it shine like the pictures shown on site. Well made knife!

Excellent Starter
Notas strong as original but still good for first hunting knife for kids.

Great general use knife
90% of your lack of quality fear disappears as soon as you touch it and learn it's made in Germany. This is the best overall knife I've ever had.
