This budget Echo dot boasts a 1.73 inch driver which for sure delivers decent bass and punchy treble.The Midrange in audio is excellent.The highlights are the Ultrasound Motion Detection which is very efficient in detecting motion and the temperature sensor is also accurate 90 percent of the time.The deep blue colour is also very catchy.The tap to pause and resume gestures are good,but to me,it was niche and not too necessary.This echo is a very good deal.

I gifted this to my dad. He is very happy with it. It plays songs like really nice, but there is one problem in this that it doesn’t listen to you if you play like Marathi songs, otherwise it’s good for English and Hindi. It works very well. sound quality is top notch easy to use voice recognition, sometimes doesn’t go for like all the languages, but it works good for Hindi and English size is easy to carry

The product quality is good and the device feels premium. However, sometimes it does not work properly with voice commands and fails to respond as expected. Also, the price feels a bit on the expensive side. Overall, it’s an average experience

It has exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality, responsiveness, and smart features. The audio quality is the first thing I noticed. The bass is deeper and the vocals are much clearer. For music, devotional songs, podcasts, and even daily news briefings, the experience is immersive. However, sometime issue in Voice Recognition is experienced. The temperature sensor feature is very useful. The motion detection feature is another smart addition that enhances automation possibilities. Alexa’s integration with smart home devices is seamless. Controlling lights, setting reminders, checking weather updates, managing to-do lists, and even tracking daily schedules has become effortless. Voice recognition is accurate and fast. What makes it even more special is how much my child enjoys using it. My kid loves asking Alexa general knowledge questions, listening to stories, rhymes, and playing interactive games. It has become both an entertainment and learning companion at home. Where do I even begin with my disastrous experience with Amazon Alexa? I can confidently say that my interaction with this so-called "smart" device has been nothing short of a nightmare. Alexa's severe lack of responsiveness and its infuriating tendency to play "Happy Birthday to You" on loop have left me exasperated and utterly disappointed. First and foremost, Alexa's main selling point is its voice recognition capability, but it seems to have taken a nosedive into incompetence. Despite speaking loud and clear, Alexa appears to have developed selective hearing. It is frustratingly unresponsive, failing to register even the most basic commands. It's as if I'm speaking to a brick wall rather than an intelligent virtual assistant. But that's not the worst part. Oh no, the worst part is the endless repetition of "Happy Birthday to You." It's as if Alexa has developed an unhealthy obsession with this one particular song. No matter what query I make or command I give, it responds by launching into an endless rendition of "Happy Birthday to You." It's mind-numbingly repetitive and offers absolutely no value or utility. I've tried every possible troubleshooting option imaginable, from resetting the device to adjusting its sensitivity, but nothing seems to rectify Alexa's misbehavior. It's as if this device has a mind of its own, and that mind is entirely focused on torturing its users with an unending birthday anthem. Furthermore, Alexa's lack of intelligence is evident in its inability to learn and adapt. It doesn't grasp context or understand conversational nuances, rendering any attempt at natural interaction futile. It's like communicating with a robotic parrot that mindlessly repeats pre-programmed phrases. Considering the exorbitant price I paid for this "smart" device, I expected a lot more than an endless loop of "Happy Birthday to You." Amazon Alexa's failure to fulfill its basic function as a voice assistant and its inability to comprehend simple commands or engage in meaningful conversation is a colossal disappointment. In conclusion, my experience with Amazon Alexa has been an exercise in frustration and regret. Its failure to listen, its incessant repetition of "Happy Birthday to You," and its overall lack of intelligence make it an infuriating piece of technology that is simply not worth the investment. sound is good but price is slightly overrated

Does increase volume while playing some of the audio for example animal sounds. Too much unwanted recommendations. Many times it doesn't understand our commands

Amazon Echo Dot 5th Gen has been my daily companion for my productivity and entertainment. I have installed two smart bulbs and my AC through a smart plug which works seamlessly with Alexa command. Also, the sound quality is pretty good (of course you can't expect an audiophile grade sound) compared to its size with decent bass and clear vocals. The mic quality is solid and the temp sensor is accurate. I upgraded from my Echo Dot 3rd Gen and I think I have got a value for money product. The only downside which can be noticeable for many is the missing 3.5 mm port.
