How cool are these?! The moment we opened the box, it was like my kid’s creativity flipped a switch — instant artist mode. Yes, there are a lot of pieces. And somehow, never enough. Once the building frenzy begins, your child will absolutely request more colors — so go ahead and add that second set to your cart now. Trust me. The only downside? You guessed it: stepping on one. Not quite as brutal as those infamous plastic bricks (you know the ones), but still enough to make you question your life choices for a second. Totally worth it, though — for the imagination

This product is great for fixing up old projects as well as creating new ones.

I got this because my children got into pixel art and I figured they would like experimenting with lego. I gave it four stars because some colors aren’t available in either this or the other set (like pink and purple), so that limits their possibilities for making video game characters like Kirby. On the plus side, the pieces are good quality, the colors are bright, there are no burrs or defects, they work great with our Lego baseplates, and they come packaged in individual color baggies inside a re-closeable cardboard box, so it’s easy to grab the color you want and start building right away. I got a different brand that had the missing colors in their product picture, but that came in a single mixed-color bag with random colors (not the same amount of each) and didn’t even have much of the colors I was looking for, so this one is a better value hands down!
