I bought this lighting to set up a little studio in my basement. When I opened the package, one of the softboxes and light bulb was inoperable. I contacted the company directly with the email provided in the packaging. They got back to me within 24 hours. I explained what happened. They asked for a screenshot of my order to verify purchase. Within 2 days they got back to me and let me know they were sending new soft and light bulb. Assembly was easy. There are tons of videos on YouTube on how to assemble this, but it's also pretty self. Explained Tory period in my opinion. They do a pretty good job. Lighting up my dark basement, which just has dim overhead light. They do come with a carrying case which makes them very portable. They're very light weight and compact, so it's easy for me to take them out and about if necessary. I have tried other affordable lighting options in the past. And they never worked as well or were as bright. These are a pretty good value for the money. I know I'm not professional photographer or videographer, but to me, they check all my boxes. I highly recommend. I will update in 6 months is anything should change. TLDR: Great lights. Great bargain. Great customer service. 👌🏽

I got this version: Skytex Softbox Lighting Kit(2Pack), 20x28in Soft Box | 85W 2700-6400K E27 LED Bulb Continuous Photography Lighting, Photo Studio Lights Equipment for Camera Shooting, Video Recording. I love everything about these lights. I was looking for lights to use for Zoom (or virtual) meetings and in particular, for interviews. I tried several other typical virtual meeting lights, like ring lights and other pc friendly lights and nothing was working for me. A big part of the reason was that I wear glasses and all those other more portable lights were reflecting directly off my glasses, not to mention, weren't actually lighting my face in any way that made much of a difference. Let me tell you these things are perfection. First, they were easy to set up, all the pieces were there, there are several videos that help you set them up, everything worked as expected. They are fully adjustable with height, angle, every which way. They are also adjustable with color from warm to cool. And the brightness is adjustable too. Fully customizable for every scenario and every function worked. On a personal note, I will also add that I can use just one of these directly in front of me (behind my computer screen) and this light works better than any filter ever would. Removing all the shadows from my face instantly removed all the lines and imperfections in my face. I'm not exaggerating when I say, I look 10 years younger when I use this light! I even have the beginnings of sagging jowls (like marionette lines) and this light erases them. I could not be more thrilled with this light. Zero issues and all the magic. I'm so glad I gave these a shot, they have FAR exceeded my expectations! Oh, and for glasses, you can use both lights, one from each side of your computer, to avoid any glare, but I love the result of how my face looks with the one light directly in front of me so I use one light right behind my computer screen, a tiny bit higher that my head and just a little tilted down. Experiment with what height and angle works best for you though. To avoid the glare on your glasses you just need to practice not looking up too high over your computer where your glasses will catch the reflection. I got used to it very quickly. But I'll also say sometimes I use this for meetings where it just doesn't matter and my glasses catch the glare and it doesn't make a difference, no one cares. But if you are worried about the glare, the one light set up works well for me and makes my face look fantastic too! Super happy with this purchase. I'll also say, after I made the purchase, I got an email from the company asking me how everything was going and if I needed any help at all, and they did NOT ask for a review. It's literally the first time that's ever happened to me on Amazon. I didn't even know there was a function where a seller could write to you. It was such a nice feeling. And I did NOT immediately write this review. I thought that was extremely nice of them to ask but then I forgot about it. But then I found it again because I had to write to another seller about a product question last night and I saw it in my box. The one single email sitting in that box where only one seller had ever asked me how things were going with my product in all these years I've been with Amazon. I actually wrote back last night and said I was sorry that I never responded (months had passed) and that they're lights are one of my favorite purchases I ever made on Amazon. And they wrote back thanking me the very next morning, lol. Just leads me to believe customer service would be great from this seller as well!

It is not a premium lighting system, those can cost thousands of dollars. It does work, and reliably so. I can only speak to my use which is capturing art indoors. The lamps are bright. They don't shake, so unless you have people walking around you don't need the sandbags. They are easy to assemble and light to carry. They are yellow lights by default, I would suggest to the manufacture they make them neutral instead. Even if you shoot on the white setting they have a warm tint. This is easy to resolve by just buying a white point or grey scale photography card. Keep it in frame, use the white eyedropper in the color tab in PS, and your tint is accurate by clicking on the card in frame. I would expect a more expensive system allows you to accurately set the Kelvin to avoid this. If you are shooting objects and don't mind light correcting in post, these lights are a bargain.

Pedí el set para un pequeño proyecto. Pedí las de forma hexagonal. Me encantaron, iluminan muy bien y traen un control para hacerlas más versátiles al modificar la temperatura de la luz. Estoy realmente sorprendida. Por el precio son adecuadas. Son algo ligeras , pero con las bolsas de peso se puede ayudar mucho a la estabilidad. Sólo hay una parte que me preocupa por fragilidad, y es la que embona el “paraguas” al triple. Hay que manejarlo con cuidado. Creo que son excelentes para personas que van comenzando, o si no quieres invertir demasiado , también si quieres algo muy portátil que no sea pesado.
