Seemed to big of a mantle at first and destroyed the first one. I found it better to install it then light the lamp, the second time it worked a treat.

Reliable make.
There's no point in using alternative cheaper makes if using Campingaz equipment. These have always been reliable and are obviously made to fit properly.

Good mantle
Exact replacement on original. What more is there to add? Only perhaps that the lamp is now 30+ years old and I can still get replacement mantles!

Replacement mantle used on Coleman F1 lantern
A replacement mantel for gas burning lanterns. Was used on a Coleman F1 lantern. This mantle is free from harmful radioactive isotopes found in older models but still requires activating outside as the initial smoke given off in preparing the mantle for the first time is harmful and produced in fairly large quantities. The reason for the four stars not five is because of the EXTREME fragility of the mantle once it has been prepared which makes getting the protective mesh cover of the lantern over the mantle a very tedious task.
