Rick Grimes and Co In Your Pocket - Part 3
A ridiculous amount of content for the price. I have read part 1 physically, but it’s not the easiest of things to carry around, so bought the first 3 digitally. An absolute delight for fans of The Walking Dead and in an easily digestible format. I won’t review the content as that’s has been covered before in other reviews, but a strong recommend from myself. Though brace yourself for the size of this mammoth collection, you may want to buy a memory card to go with it… or several.

Another Satisfying Arc for The Walking Dead
Great continuation of The Walking Dead story. Reading ahead of the TV series, as I always have done, I both enjoy the separate developments and characters while appreciating the potential for on-screen. Negan - such potential. If they play him on screen like he developed in this omnibus volume, we're in for a treat. It would be a spoiler to say much more, but he is nothing like the Governor. Well, no nothing like him... he's another sort of leader you'd probably stay well clear of given the choice who comes across as well-meaning, at least in his own propaganda. A solid story throughout with a lot of excellent character development. On a couple of occasions I had an emotive response to the story that meant I had no choice but to put it down on the table and walk away for a moment. The pay off at the end - THAT is a cliffhanger. You see what's coming, but... you don't see what's coming. Art-wise, I love the two-page spreads and I like the straightforward art. Nothing too flashy, but some excellent detail. When you see a horde, you see a horde. This volume covers the high 90s into the low 100s of the comic series - and I know there's so much more ahead. I'm an avid reader and will continue to be for some time yet.

and this Compendium may contain the best issues of the lot
The Walking Dead is still going as strong as it ever has, and this Compendium may contain the best issues of the lot. Kirkman continues to expand his apocalyptic world which is growing larger and darker with each issue. The characters you've come to love are just excel in these volumes; Rick, Andrea, Michonne, Maggie, Eugene and especially Carl have absolutely brilliant character arcs, and their stories continue to develop in amazing, yet mostly unforeseen ways. It has to be said though, this series is not for the faint hearted, and these volumes are definitely the most violent so far! Overall, if you're looking to get into reading the comic series, I highly recommend purchasing the Compendiums because it is without a doubt the most cost-effective way of reading through the issues (also because they look freaking awesome on your shelf!).

" My name is Negan and I don't appreciate you killing my men. "
Wow I pretty much read this in a day. I love the new arch villain the Negan, psychopathic, darkly humorous and a joy to behold. The action doesn't allow for as much character development this time as this is a very fast paced set of issues mostly following the insane war Rick and the crew have against Negan and his group the Savoiurs. Obviously not being bound by television censorship boundaries the comic is a much more violent experience and as much as I enjoy the television series the comic is the real Walking Dead. This compendium mostly follows the war against Negan and the rebuilding of civilisation after the war and the emerging of an even more dangerous enemy that closes the compendium with a jaw dropping shocker. Bold, bloody, exciting, shocking suspenseful and still brilliant.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
I Would Most Defiantly Recommend this to any fan (NEW or OLD) as it's filled with great characters and story from TWD Universe. Unlike the show that it's based off there are things that are a little different off i.e. things aren't the same and that goes for the other (2) Compendiums but trust me it's not a put off by any means. The novels and especially the comics are far more darker than its tv counterparts and tad little bit better too. I am a Huge WD fan and if you like horror / zombies or even if you've seen most or you're up to date in the tv show and want to know more I highly recommend this. Never mind 5/5 if I could it get a Full 10.

really enjoyed reading this
really enjoyed reading this, its heavy, well bound, the paper quality is very good, and for the amount of content is well worth the money, the only thing I could think of that would improve it would be to have covers of the individual issues at the back. or between the issues.

Brill read
Absolutely loved both compendium 1 & 2, and this one does not disappoint either. Been a big fan of the show, and didn't think I'd love the comics as much I do because although some parts are similar in the show and the comics, they also differ from each other in some parts. Find myself watching the show now and saying, "yes that's so much like the comics" or "they didn't do that in the comics". Can't wait for the next volume, definatly recommend.

Great but sadly missing the covers
I really like these compendium editions but I do think it's a shame that the covers aren't in there. They're presented as a continuous comic with no page numbers or edition numbers, you just get a chapter marker which is once every 6 comics I think. If they didn't want to break up the storey pages it would have been nice to have the full colour covers together in the front of the book to act as an index to the pages maybe, at least that way you could jump to a particular comic. When this arrived I wanted to look at issue #100 and there was no way to actually find that.
