An inexpensive luxury for your miniature painting hobby
This little machine packs quite the power. I use the mixer it for mixing my miniature hobby paints. It couldn't be easier to use, with just a few seconds pressing down on the soft silicone cone you're ready to go. It helps to press both the base and the tip of the bottle to ensure the metal ball bearings vibrate throughout and you get an even mix. I found that if I only pressed the base, sometimes paint would get trapped in the tip and not mix thoroughly. The unit is very quiet, especially for the power it provides in shaking the paint. There were many models priced much higher, but this was a great deal for the price. The mixer worked so well, I ended up purchasing a second for my son. If you haven't experienced a vortex mixer for your paints you are doing yourself a disservice. The quality of the mix you achieve vs shaking bottles by hand are a big difference. Especially on colors that tend to separate with time (some grays, blues, purples). Do yourself a favor and give this mixer a try.

You won’t be disappointed!
Definitely worth the money! It is good to mix nail polishes or even alcohol inks! I’m glad I purchased this product! The quality is good and durable. Noise level isn’t bad and it is easy to use. Very functional for many various projects that need shook.

Works good. Sometimes you just need to find the angle to make it work.

Great for miniature paints--works perfectly!
Works like a charm for Vallejo, Army Painter, and Citadel paints for wargaming/Warhammer. It doesn’t take up much space, and mixing is super effective. Someone suggested flipping the paint pots or dropper bottles and mixing both sides--I tried it and it’s a fool-proof method without adding any extra time. Easy to use, some noise of course (but nothing terrible), good value for money (and time saved shaking paint pots by hand), and works quickly. Solid choice for hobbyists.

Very nice vortex mixer for model and airbrush paints!
This is a great little mixer for model and airbrush paints! Works great, easy to use, and it mixes the paints super fast! Takes up very little space on your work table.

Not durable
It was quite for a while now getting annoyingly noise. After using it 1-2 times x week some of the round rubber little pieces in the bottom to prevent slipping fell off and had to glue. Then the blue rubber top falls off while using. Then the polish bottles have to be repositioned carefully in order to work as it did when new and the motor has very clearly lost power. All this after 2 months of light use 2 to 3 times a week for 10 to 15 bottles of nail polish mixing.

Shake It Up!
I live this! My makeup requires mixing prior to each use. I used to walk around and shake it for two minutes, this is much faster! Thank you for another way to mix up liquids in bottles! Works great with nail polish as well!

Not Good for Paints That Need More than 10-20s of Mixing
I wanted this for mixing up 2oz and smaller craft paints. It lost 1 star because the steel balls were missing from the packaging, but I already had some so was going to let that slide. The Cons (and reason I am returning) Plugged in with the provided power cable and all seemed okay at first, but started finding the product could not consistently mix for more than 10-20s without stopping. Could not feel any heat on the unit and the power plug was in, but it would just stop. Needed to rest for 30s or so and could mix for another 10-20s. This is wholly insufficient for the paints I needed the most help with. 2oz craft paints also won't fit in the indention, so they have to be flat on the top or slightly at an angle to mix well. The Pros Very light. Very quiet when running. Might work well for thinner suspensions and mixes that need less help. Cord was reasonably long.
