Lucy Cousins Treasury of Nursery Rhymes Book and CD

This is just the perfect collection of all the classic nursery rhymes in one place. My baby loves Lucy Cousin's Maisy books and this, too, has been a great hit! Love the colourful pictures and my baby especially loves Humpty Dumpty's image. It would've been even better if the pages were made of cardboard to make the book tear-proof, but I think that would make it too bulky as there are loads of poems in there. Brilliant second-hand buy, I think I got mine from Oxfam books and I'm a regular online customer of theirs. Always great service and prompt delivery, plus you know you're helping a good cause. These songs are sung with simple but varied arrangements and a clear voice, which I could listen to happily myself, and not go mad with endless repeats! Just right for my 2 year old granddaughter who loves singing and following the book.

I love this book and cd. I bought it as I have a young baby and didn’t know the words to many nursery rhymes. This book fits the bill. Nice illustrations too. Last but not least my baby and I love the cd which comes with the book, it is the best sounding children’s I’ve found so far, Katy ashworth has a nice voice and it’s very tuneful. We listen to it and I sing along every day and my baby loves it. Just wish they’d do another volume with some more nursery rhymes!

Awesome selection of nursery rhymes i bought this in Feb 2017, my daughter is still engrossed in these. Love the illustration, layout and the size of the lyric board book. My 5m girl tries to turn pages of the book while hearing the sweet songs.

Such a lovely product - the production of the songs is great and they are sung beautifully. The illustrations are also fabulous. I have used it lots since purchase with my 6 month old and 5 year old and can see it being used for years to come.

Book is lovely, bought for CD more to play in the car. It is nice collection of songs but as someone else says some of the rhymes are sung different to what your use to, such ad three little pigs.

Lucy Cousins' Big Book of Nursery Rhymes I bought this book for a friend of mine, a French woman living in the UK who had just had a baby. She knows all the French nursery rhymes, but no English ones. This is great, all the rhymes I remember from my childhood and some I don't, beautiful illustrations, just right. The origins of the rhymes took a bit of explaining though!
