Low-hassle, great colors
I bought these 5050 RGBW LEDs along with a BTF-LIGHTING AC100-240V to DC12V6A power supply and a BTF-LIGHTING Zigbee 3.0 C04Z LED Controller for RGBW, after lots of research and a certain amount of educated guessing, and that combination worked flawlessly for me out of the box. The LEDs come with a cable that connects the pin sockets on the end of the strip to individual wires suitable for insertion into the controller. When inserting each wire, pay attention to the wire color! The order of red and green is switched on the controller relative to the pin order on the LED strip, so you'll need to cross-wire the wires. The colors of the wires in the cable that comes with the LED strip matches the pin order on the strip, so just attach the red wire to the "R" socket on the controller and the green wire to the "G" socket, and you'll be fine (unless you're red-green colorblind, in which case, best of luck!). The controller also comes with two sockets marked V+ (power). Attach the black wire to one of them and leave the other one empty. This advice probably applies to their RGBW controller that has a remote control too, but I can't say for sure. If nothing happens when you plug it in, make sure the plug between the wall socket and the power brick is firmly inserted. It took a fair bit of persuasion for me to get it fully seated. Anyway, on to the actual review: the LEDs are spaced close together on the strip, which is good since it makes it easier for the light to diffuse and be less spotty. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are cut points every three LEDs, which makes it possible to cut the strip to almost any length you want. These cut points do seem to be natural places for the cable to crimp when unwound, though, so be a little careful playing with them before you attach them to something. The colors are pretty spectacular. I can produce a warm, pure, or cool white with these, plus vibrant saturated colors, and the hue stays pretty consistent even as I lower the brightness almost to nothing. The colors produced also match what the app shows, unlike some cheap smart light bulbs I've bought on Amazon in the past. The maximum brightness is very bright indeed. All in all, these lights work exactly as they're supposed to, they're well-made, and setup was way less of a hassle than I anticipated.

Looks Amazing – Warm White Is a Great Touch
These light strips look amazing! I used them for a home project, and I’m really impressed with how vibrant the colors are. The warm white option is what sold me — it gives off a soft, cozy glow that looks great in the evenings, especially in the bedroom or kitchen. The strip feels durable, and the lights are nice and bright without being harsh. It was easy to install, but just a heads-up: it doesn’t come with a power adapter or controller, so you’ll need to get those separately. Once everything’s hooked up, though, the effect is beautiful. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out. Great quality for the price, and the lighting makes a big difference in the space.

Great Product!
I have had these installed on the eaves of my home for the past year. They are bright! Love the vivid colors. After a year, I can also say they are durable! Absolutely love being able to set my eaves to different colors!

Good Quality, Great Price
I bought these to install in a motorhome renovation. Other reviews may say they are spliced together from 0.5m strips -- they are. Circuit boards cannot be infinitely long, so it is understandable that they are spliced together from shorter lengths. This should not affect the performance/lifetime of the strip. However you may want to be careful when bending on the spliced joints. Consider cutting the strip and running wires to complete the bend if you must bend it at a solder joint. As far as the adhesive goes, I haven't used it yet and don't really plan to. I don't think any double sided tape (that won't tear off paint with it) will last the lifetime of the installation. There are clips readily available to screw these on the wall and avoid using adhesive. I bought clips for "10mm IP67/68" LED strips. There are also conduit channels that diffuse the light and provide a clean, flat surface for the adhesive to grip onto. A non-porous, flat surface free of oils/contaminants is ideal if you're using the adhesive. It is pressure activated adhesive so make sure to firmly press down all areas of the strip to achieve good adhesion. The warm white color is pleasant. I have had other LED strips with retina-piercing brightness and hues. These will do nicely for indirect ambient lighting for nighttime (especially while on the road). You will want to install these strips so they provide indirect or diffused light. Otherwise the brightness may give you a headache after a while of staring at bare LEDs. I measured current draw of the complete 5M strip at 12V for each color. I applied 12V directly to the each color with no dimming applied. The results I got are below: Warm White: 1.342A @ 12V (16.104 Watts) Blue: 1.162A @ 12V (13.944 Watts) Red: 1.288A @ 12V (15.456 Watts) Green: 1.136A @ 12V (13.632 Watts) Total: 4.928A @ 12V (59.136 Watts) So the recommended 6A/12V power supply should be sufficient. You may want to increase your margin a bit if you want a more robust installation. You likely won't be running the LEDs at full brightness a lot though. Overall, they're good quality at a great price. Unless you maybe go with a super premium brand costing 3X more you're likely getting the same product as anywhere else in terms of quality and longevity.

Good Lights - Great customer service
I had a large project on my deck. 4 reels of lights, 3 separate drivers. I emailed BTF before I purchased and they reviewed my project plans. They made helpful suggestions and double-checked my math to make sure I wasn't overloading my power supply. They steered me to a lower priced driver based on my needs and saved me a little cash. Lights look great and when I ran into a problem, support was able to help me sort it out quickly. A couple small complications which almost knock the review down to 4 stars, but the outstanding customer support more than made up for it. First, the double sticky tape is mostly worthless. There were times the tape peeled off the light strip just from trying to remove the paper. My installation was an undermount onto wood and the tape just wasn't strong enough to hold the weight of the light strip. I used some clear silicone caulk along the entire length of all the strips and held everything in place with some clamps until it dried. Second frustration is more with the BTF accessories. The drivers work fine, but the app to talk to them over wifi is crap. Use Smart Life or Tuya instead so it integrates into the rest of the ecosystem. The 5-wire cable is low gauge which is more efficient for long distances but the wire is too big to solder onto the tiny pads of the strips and doesn't fit into the drivers.

Clear coating yellowed with in 8 months but..
The clear coating over the LED strip yellowed very quickly. This might make sense if I had them installed in a sunny location. However they are still in there package, in a cardboard box, in a closet. (I'll attach a photo if I can remember later of the strip) I did open the 2 I purchased to see if they worked but the stored them away. I bought these for a friend's project and it ended up not happening, so I kept them because you never know where you might want LED under lighting! The issue is these were going to be in a very white kitchen, so I found sealed, white backed strips so if you could see them at sever angels, it wouldn't be THAT noticeable. And in case they might get splashed with water or cleaning product once in a while. I rated the adhesive poor, however I would never truly rely on that to secure a strip. Other anchors are the move. Had some issues with the colors.. but I'm 98% the wiring in my supper cheap strip controller is to blame, as it happened with other, different brand strips, but the wires on the strip seemed to be mixed but again I can not tell with what I have to put to it. I am a little torn on what to rate these because they are relatively inexpensive and they do what they say as far as I can tell. I would have just wanted to buy, if it exists, a better quality strip that wont break the bank or break down so fast.
