This stuff dyed my dark blond hair orange. Worst hair dye I have ever used. Incredibly expensive too.

This has always been my choice by but the price has Sky Rocked They used to do many shades Wonder why it is almost a no no I willing paid the price but don't know why there is no variety and so so expensive it's a great product

Used for the first time nearly 7 weeks ago and I just ordered another box. I'm 53 and have greying dark blonde/ash color. Loved the base color of the 8.2 and greys were substantially covered. I wasn't thrilled with the finger brush and ended up using my fingers to highlight. I was worried about the outcome being blotchy and uneven but surprisingly, I was impressed. The highlight color turned out a nice beige but as time wore on, a brass tone crept in even with using a purple brass-out shampoo and it's common for me to experience this will all coloring kits after about 4 weeks. (The shampoo does help tone it down though). Overall, I was pleased with the price and results and will continue to buy. I've been using color only for years and was thrilled to find this dual product that covers greys and offers highlights all in the same box at a fraction of what a salon charges. With my second box though, I've purchased the Conair 4pk disposable highlighting cap and hook (under $7 for 4) for easier application and more assurance of even coverage. Luckily my husband doesn't mind helping me with the pulling out of strands. I'm surprised L'Oreal doesn't package it with a cap/hook because they really don't cost that much. Anyway, this is a better and alternate solution for my tastes and maybe for some readers. Still, it's a good inexpensive product and I do recommend. Wish I had found it sooner!

It’s fairly easy to follow directions and results were fairly good.

This was an unusual product. I wasn’t aware you color first and high Light afterwards. So…. It’s a process. You have to completely dry your hair after you do the color. I just threw the bottle on my hair because it was about 3 months last time I had a professional job. I had to take two showers. It’s some work. Unless you want to do the high lights another day. Might be easier. The color does give a bit of brass. So, I would for sure have a very good purple tone shampoo product. They give you a toner conditioner but I prefer a very good toner product such as Redkin. It did pretty good all and all. I would call this a hold over until I can get a professional job. I would buy this product again if I get into this bind again.
