I recently purchased the KNIPEX Pliers Wrench, and it has completely transformed the way I work with fasteners. Excellent Perfect for swa glands

Not being a fan of adjustable spanners (with a traditional thumb wheel), I was intrigued by these new design plier-wrenches from Knipex. They are unique in that they combine adjustable spanners with the ease and flexibility of adjustable pliers. A simple push of the button unlocks the wrench and allows you to quickly change the adjustment and jaw width. The jaws themselves are perfectly smooth and flat, as per a standard open ended spanner and lock on well to nuts. The handles are covered with a standard thin rubbery-plastic which still feels comfortable to hold and easy to use the tool. I prefer thin handles like these that are easy to operate with or without gloves and are easier to get into tight spaces. Although these spanner-wrenches are expensive, I think they are worth the investment as they can adapt from 0-46mm, very versatile and easy to use. As the literature advertises; you really can stop carrying around a bundle of loose spanners in all different sizes, and simple carry two of these (slghtly different sizes would be ideal).

I use adjustable spanner's every day as one of my most frequent refrigeration engineers tools. This promised to make live easer, quick adjustment and the ability to move around the nut/valve without removing the tool and re-positioning. In reality it takes longer to set up for each size and because it has two handles it takes up much more room than a simple adjustable. I work inside tight spaces and a simple adjustable if often better. Very well made as expected but very high price for what is a bit of a gimmick. Probably suit the DIY user who is happy to pay the high price.

Grips really well with little effort

Awesome tool just got them 2 days ago. You can adjust to the size of the jaw on compressions using the printed numbers on the tool itself the 22 mark wouldn't be for a 22 nut but once you remember the corresponding number you don't even need to put it on the nut to get the size right as it closes a little when you squeeze the lever, saves a little time. I think i use 22 for a half-inch nut but don't quote me lol You can perform close to a ratcheting action to tighten those radiator tails and compression nuts by loosening your grip and allowing the jaws to slip over the nuts edge to the next flat surface and squeeze again. It's easy to overtighten compression joints with this tool so some care is needed. May not get under all boilers to loosen flow and return nuts but if it does fit it fits well without rounding off the nuts slipping and banging your knuckles or even worse cutting them. They are my go-to spanners now but I still use my Bahcos for access to some places I'm just more careful of smashing my knuckles. It's great for Jobbing, maintenance and installation work. I don't normally do reviews but I had to say something for my fellow engineers. I always look for a plumbers review when buying tools. You know what, I'm in a good mood now I may write some more reviews about other products, just the good stuff though lol.

It's almost unbelievable how all the praising comments for this tool came sort of true. I was hesitant and could not believe when ppl kept repeating how good this is. I decided to pull the trigger and I got them even tho it wasn't easy to spend this sort of money on a spanner for a DIY guy like me. I don't get to use it very often but when I do I don't regret one bit of buying them and thinking of buying another pair. Brilliant tool to say the least.

Compre estas para probar y son muy pequeñas, sirven para roscas de cosas pequeñas pero para la capacidad que abre te costará mucho aflojar por lo que compre las de 250mm y muy satisfecho con ambas para el uso que debe cada una.

Spedizione rapida, imballata da Amazon in busta di cartone e dalla fabbrica in scatola di cartone e leggera pellicola plastica sulla parte metallica esposta, onestamente avrebbe meritato più attenzioni da entrambi, lo dico perché secondo me è un gioiellino. Avevo visto un video su internet di un manutentore che utilizzava una strana pinza a pappagallo, più che la procedura di intervento idraulico che mostrava mi ha incantato la chiave che utilizzava, sono riuscito a risalire al modello, fortunatamente non ce ne sono di simili in giro e ancora più fortunatamente era in vendita su Amazon, dove praticamente io compro quasi tutto ad esclusione degli alimentari, salvo qualche eccezione tipo il caffè per esempio. Una volta in mio possesso avrei voluto smontare tutti gli impianti idraulici per provarla, poi ho resistito fino a quando ho sostituito una valvola di un termosifone che perdeva, è stata una gioia non dovere cercare la chiave fissa esatta o usare chiave inglese o altro, tra l'altro non ha i denti tra le morse e quindi non graffia il metallo, si adatta praticamente a quasi tutte le misure tra la regolazione a pulsante e ammorsamento manuale, davvero viene voglia di buttare tutti gli altri arnesi, la qualità è buona, le guaine di plastica le avrei preferite più spesse ed antiscivolo, insomma più ergonomiche, sul materiale metallico non mi pronuncio si tratta di un grande ed affidabile brand e sono certo che sia ottimo. L'idea, credo, unica, non ho visto online altro attrezzo simile, ovviamente posso sbagliarmi, è davvero eccezionale, non credo che con il tempo si possa usurare facilmente, se l'usava il tipo per fare il video che era un professionista, credo che sia durevole, il prezzo può sembrare elevato, infatti ci ho pensato un poco prima di acquistarla, un poco meno di cinquanta euro, ma poi mi sono deciso pensando alla comodità e al risparmio di acquistare delle chiavi fisse (che tra l'altro già ho, avevo comprate da poco un set (sempre qui su Amazon), eppure manca sempre una misura, con questa siamo coperti fino alla 52 (praticamente 2" abbondanti) partendo da zero se non sbaglio anche se c'è segnato 12 sulla scanalatura, un grazie al tecnico del video che credo sia straniero ma lavori in Italia, lo farei direttamente se potessi.
