Seriously the best coffee maker I've owned!!!
Let me start by saying we drink at least 2 pots of coffee a day in my house. I have owned lots of coffee pots. We prefer the 14 cup ones at this point, to allow everyone enough in the morning for coffee at home and for to-go cups to take along. There is kind of slim pickings when it comes to the 14 cup size coffee makers. The last two I've owned were Braun and Cuisinart , 14 cup. Both were attractive and brewed fine. But...both of them dripped when pouring. EVERY TIME. Once I called Cuisinart to ask for a new pot, thinking it was just a fluke. They were nice enough to send a new pot, which dripped just as bad as the first one. I gave up and used it for a few years until it stopped working. I did not even really realize how annoying that constant dripping all over my counters was, until I got this Ninja coffee pot that has NEVER dripped once in the month that I've had it! I'm so grateful! We love the separate water container, which is new for us. It's much more convenient than using your coffee pot to fill. That usually drips on the counter too, in spite of how slow and careful you try to be. So, this separate container with a lid to seal it has been great! The coffee pot itself is very attractive. It's about the normal size of any other coffee pot. I like that there are no sides. It makes the pot easy to get out and one less surface to clean. The warmer works great and is smooth, so easy to wipe down and keep clean. The display was one of the easier ones I've had to figure out. Pretty self explanatory for the most part. And, I think it brews better coffee than either of my last two pots and it's faster. I just really can't find anything about this pot to complain about! I've never had a Ninja product in my life, so wasn't sure what to expect. After the last two dripping insanely I figured I'd try something different. I'm so glad I did. This has been the best experience ever with a new coffee pot! I would TOTALLY recommend if your looking for a 14 cup, non-dripping, beautiful coffee maker.

Best coffee maker I've ever owned!
I loooove this coffee maker! It's such a game changer. Very sleek and ergonomic design. Easy to use and intuitive. The detachable water reservoir is very user friendly and I like that its a single use fill so that the water doesn't sit in the tank getting stale. Easy to clean. The 14 cup size is very convenient and easy to scale up or down based on desired consumption. The heat level and flavor are far superior to any prior drip system I've owned previously. My favorite purchase of the year. 10/10 recommend.

Great coffee maker with bonus features and 14 cups!
I just love the ninja coffee maker I actually bought 2! This coffee maker is top test for quality coffee. Its ability to make 14 cups sets it apart from the rest. The easy removable water tank makes filling the reservoir hassle free and no mess with trying to use the pot to pour your water into the back of must makers. It functions great, comes with both a reusable filter and scooper built in for the desired amount of coffee you're looking to make. The coffee tastes great as I grind my own coffee each morning, sometimes prepping it at night for the next morning with the programmable feature. It's nice waking up to the smell of freshly made coffee to start your day. Last thing I should mention is it will keep the coffee hot in the pot for several hours so even if you're not the first one up, or oversleep your alarm you'll still have fresh hot coffee when your running out the door.

Ninja coffee maker
I've owned a lot of cheap coffee makers and decided to spend a little bit more this time. After going through what seemed like hundreds of coffee makers and their reviews, I came across this one the Ninja and I'm absolutely satisfied with this coffee maker! I read some reviews that the coffee didn't get hot enough? They might have gotten a bad one, it gets plenty hot. In fact hotter than any coffee maker I've had. Also between the classic and Rich mode settings it's perfect I like mine a little stronger I drink Seattle's Best coffee post alley, it's a strong coffee ground to begin with and when set on rich setting it makes it perfect! as far as programmable for setting it for the morning it's easy, you hit the delay button and enter what time you want with the hour (H) and minute (M) buttons for the morning (a.m.) make sure it's on a.m. and then hit the delay button again and it beeps to let you know it's set, that simple. Once your coffee is brewed it will stay hot for 2 hours as it's default once it turns off you can manually turn it back on by hitting the warm button on the front which I love that feature. Then once you're done just make sure you turn it back off by pressing the warming button again. the water tank in the back is easy to use it lifts straight up it's got a little hook in the middle that hooks onto the back of the coffee maker and sets straight down so straight up straight down the scoopers a double scoop I still use my old one but the scooper that comes mounted in the top of the lid of the water tank is a double and I measured the one I have from my old coffee maker and it is precise I decided to go with the directions and use the recommended scoops the first time which is eight Waters 8 scoops that seemed a little strong to me on the rich setting I used to always have two less scoops than the water so if it was 10 Waters I would put eight scoops but now with this one I do nine scoops you know a little overfilled scoops with 10 Waters and it comes out perfect every time. This is probably the best coffee maker I've ever owned. Happy with this purchase. Last little note as far as the buttons in the front they're very easy to read the top section is hours, minutes, and it looks like an on/off button to the right it's not, it's actually a button that tells you how fresh your coffee is like how long it's been on since it brewed I actually thought that was an on button, but to start your coffee if you want to brew it right then and there the fourth row down there's a brew with a slash off (BREW/OFF) you just press that button and it turns your coffee pot on and makes your coffee but if you program it for the morning you don't have to it automatically makes your coffee like any other programmable coffee maker. Hope this review helps it was a little excessive I know, but I spent a lot of time looking for one so just wanted to be honest.

VERY Disappointed
I finally broke down and purchased a new coffee pot, and based on the reviews and my experience with other Ninja products, I decided to splurge on this one. I am SOOOOOOOOO disappointed with it. For the first time in my 50+ years making coffee - I had actual MOLD grow on the top of the coffee within 36 hours! I couldn't believe it - I've NEVER had that. In addition, the amount of sludge that is in the bottom of the pot is crazy! I've tried adding a paper filter thinking our grounds were too fine (they are normal coffee grounds out of the container - we don't grind it) - it didn't help. It makes the last few cups of coffee undrinkable - down the sink it goes. My husband is diabetic and drinking coffee is one of the quickest way to bring up his sugar when it drops - so we always have a pot made. It's not abnormal for a pot of coffee to last a day and a half - and we've been doing this for YEARS. I always remove the grinds after making the coffee and even elevate the lid so it 'airs' out and doesn't hold the moisture. The mold grew on top of the coffee somewhere between 24-36 hours - I still can't believe it. I've tried making 12 cups vs. 14, then 10, then 8 - doesn't matter. The sludge is always so much that the last few cups are not drinkable. We've only had the mold twice - which is 2 times too many - I have no idea why. I clean everything in-between pots. Unfortunately I went in for a hip replacement and the return window has closed - so I'm stuck with it. I've had several coffee makers over the last 50+ years and I have NEVER had either of these issues. I'm SO disappointed and frustrated that I wasted over $100 and now have to buy a new pot and throw this away. I don't even feel comfortable donating it because whoever would have the same issue - it makes the unit unusable. I would NOT recommend this pot to anyone. I thought having the water in a separate container and being able to make 14 cups would be really nice - however the sludge in the bottom of the pot, and the mold negates anything that I might like about it. Don't buy this!

Very Good with Minor Flaws
I purchased this coffee pot in April 2024 (it is now August 2025) when my ancient Mr. Coffee coffee maker finally keeled over. I decided to go with this coffee maker because Ninja is a great brand, and it was one of the only coffee makers I could find in copper to match my kitchen! Overall, I appreciate the thoughtful, intelligent design of this coffee pot and it makes pretty good coffee. However it isn't without some minor flaws that can't be overlooked considering the higher than average price point: CONS: -The Drip Stop function doesn't work well. If you're impatient like me and want to pour your first cup before the brewing cycle is complete, it will continue to drip coffee onto the hot plate when you pull the pot out. I don't brew a full pot, usually about half so for me personally this isn't a big deal. But this is a basic function that my old Mr. Coffee pulled off flawlessly, so it's definitely an issue with the Ninja. -The coffee doesn't come out as hot as I'd like. I like my coffee to still be hot even after I add a little milk. If it sits on the hot plate for about 10 minutes, it does get nice and hot. As a work around, I set the delay brew a little earlier so it has time to sit on the hot plate and heat up. But I'd prefer it to be hotter when it's fresh brewed. -The carafe doesn't have measurement markings on it at all. No problem for me personally but it's definitely unusual. -It beeps quite loud when it's done brewing and when it shuts off automatically. This is kind of an issue with the delay brew, because it beeps loudly 5 times when the brewing cycle is complete, and I'm the first one up in the morning. I worry that the beeping will disturb my partner sleeping. PROS: -Removable Water Tank! This is great. I love this feature. It's one of those things that you never knew you wanted until you got it! -It's dishwasher safe! Huge plus for me as someone who HATES doing dishes by hand. I put the carafe and filter through the dishwasher and they come out good as new! -The overall design of this coffee maker is thoughtful and really aesthetically satisfying. I love the look of this coffee maker. I really appreciate the small details, for example it comes with a perfect little measuring scoop that has it's own slot at the top of the water tank. It's so convenient and I don't have to have a coffee dusted spoon laying around on the counter. -Delay brew! Omg this is great. I love that I can set this up every night and pretend that my coffee magically makes itself every morning. Plus I love waking up to the smell of coffee! Another reviewer said that this coffee pot didn't "produce a coffee smell" which is absolutely absurd. My kitchen is downstairs and on the opposite side of the house as our bedroom, yet I can still smell the coffee brewing ALLLLL the way upstairs. -It produces a good tasting cup of coffee! Which is the most important thing :)

So far, so good. Non-dripping carafe is a nice change from the competition's dripper.
Did someone say it makes HOT coffee? Watch out for that first sip if you're not used to HOT coffee! I've had 4 similar Brand X (starts with "C" and doesn't make HOT coffee) with which I've been perfectly happy the first two years of use after which they decide to inconveniently dump their water all over the counter, down your cabinets and onto the floor - sometimes mentioned in their reviews. Not a particularly happy thing to find at 5am let alone no coffee either. After my post mortem analysis, I find this is due to a long-standing design/materials/assembly application issue negatively effecting Brand X's reliability (not be confused with their quality which is OK). To be fair, Brand X pot #4 was a slightly more robust version of this product line and did not do this waterfall thing - but it did stop making coffee properly at 16 months old (and it was more expensive). Plus, it's impossible to not drip from Brand X's carafes. So, I've put the past brand-loyalty behind me and moved on to Ninja to see how it does ( I have a Ninja blender which is fine). Anyway, so far so good. I like the consistently non-dripping carafe better (if you pour from it correctly) as well as the water filling process (which some folks don't like). Coffee output seems no different than Brand X's other than being cooler but it does require a tad more coffee/less water to match the bold/rich setting of Brand X's. At this point I can't speak to reliability (lifetime), of course, but we'll just have to wait and see about that. Quality is good. Controls are good. Footprint is good. Price is good. (Edit a few weeks later: If you prefer your skin being intact between your thumb and wrist , watch out for the carafe's internal tabs that grasp the lid. They bite if you reach inside and rotate your hand to wash or dry. Ask me how I know... OTOH, still liking this Ninja over Brand X!)
