What antiseptic does Bepanthen contain?

Depends on which Bepanthen product you are referring to. We have been using the Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment. It's ingredients are Aqua, Lanolin, Paraffin Liquidum,Petrolatum, Panthenol, Prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, Cera alba,Cetyl alcohol,Stearyl alcohol, Ozokerite, Glyceryl oleate, Lanolin alcophol andPeovitamin B5. It works very well for infant diaper rash. We have also used the Antiseptic Cream which among other things contains benzalkonium chloride ( 500 mcg/g) I would go to their web site and search further for your answers. Hope this helps. Is it a thick type of cream or light/easy to absorb? I used several kinds of Bepanthen cream, some of them are thick and some are light. Thanks!

Is actually a very light easy to absorb cream, I use it on my hands a lot. They have the tendency to dry and crack, so I apply the cream on the cuts and keep going without a grease feeling on them. I also noticed that it heals the wounds pretty fast.
