Smooth finish, beautiful build, and it glows!
Dremel sent me their Idea Builder to review for Amazon and they have a proprietary filament that was brittle and thready. I almost gave up on their product, until I decided to break away from their filament and try a different on. Based on the various reviews I found online, I chose the Hatchbox 1.75 Glow in the Dark PLA here. I made a celtic skull that I found on Thingiverse. I had made a few with the Dremel filament, and they had empty spaces and thready finishes. The skull made with this filament is awesome! The finish is much smoother, the iridescent finish is really pretty, and the fact that it glows in the dark is amazing, especially at Halloween (two weeks away). I'll be making many more of these! Because Dremel makes it impossible to use others' filament without modification to the unit, it did negate the warranty. I had to create a homemade filament spool, and hang it outside of the unit, and wire it into the feeder tube through a "custom" hole in the side. :) The temperature was about 217 degrees for the build. It stuck beautifully to the 3M blue tape, and came off without a problem. I am VERY happy with this filament!

My go to!
This is amazing. I have no issues with clogging, tangles and the print quality is great. I've tried other brand to save a little bit of money but spend more time unclogging the nozzle or reprinting it. It may be a little more than others but its well worth the money. The glow in the dark is amazing for halloween prints.

Good Quality and sturdy PLA.
I bought this Glow in the dark about a year ago for these wall skulls I have for my outside decorations and I am very pleased. The print quality is impressive. I had not extrusion issues. Just make sure you get your print settings dialed in. I have two outdoor uv lights spotting them from the grass and they glow so good. Just as seen on the photos. I highly recommend for any glow in the dark applications.

Pretty dang cool!
In my Makerbot 2X, this works great. I print at 210 - 215C using the Makerbot Desktop software and have had 100% success with it. The glowing of the material is pretty good. I built a Overwatch Loot Box with the glow panels and it glows for hours at night. The glow retention is based on how thick your object is and what infill you use. The B9 Robot has 100% infill and glows all night long. The glow will be super bright when you shine a flashlight on it, but to get the longest glow, just let it sit out in a room with bright lighting and let it soak in. It will release the photons for much longer if you do that. 4 Stars because it does take some fiddling to figure out what works best for your printer. I will be buying this again

Much better than I anticipated!
I am beyond impressed by this filament! When I first saw this on Amazon, I thought the glow would be very subtle, even when exposed to a lot of light beforehand. I was very wrong! Pros: - The green glow really exceeded my expectations. It's actually quite vibrant, even next to some other lighted objects (I'll include a picture of a "Solaire of Astora" print from Dark Souls next to my mouse and keyboard for reference), and it's really cool to look at in the dark. Especially if you hold your print under a light for a few seconds before turning the lights off. - This filament prints very smoothly. Just as great as other Hatchbox PLA I've used. I didn't have to adjust any of my default PLA settings to get pretty high quality prints at 0.2mm layer height. - Hatchbox filament comes in spools that have 4 spots to "clip" your filament on BOTH sides (8 total) when switching between spools. Other brands I've used usually have 2 on both sides; wasting small amounts of filament every time you switch spools if you're not using your own clip. Cons: - Nothing. This works just as great as other PLA filaments I've used! I would highly recommend this filament to anyone looking to get a "cool" kind of filament to print with. It has a great "slightly-transparent" white look to it when it's in the light, and a really cool solid green glow when it's in the dark. I absolutely love this filament, and it'll be perfect for small gifts or lettering. I included pictures of a few small gifts I made for people. The lightswitch cover bottom is printed with black Hatchbox PLA, and the lettering is printed with the Hatchbox glow in the dark PLA. The other pictures are the print I set next to my keyboard/mouse.

HatchBox Glow-in-the-Dark PLA filament.
This glow-in-the-dark (GITD) filament prints very well. It's PLA so it also requires much less heat and has considerably reduced warping compared to ABS. This glows in a soft light-green color, but the sustain of the light isn't very bright nor very long, much like most other GITD filaments. The print itself is very similar to "natural" color PLA filament, but the quality of print is much better on my printer than the typical translucent filaments. Most of the HatchBox filaments have been very good to excellent over the years that I have been using them. If you print Christmas ornaments and then hang them on your tree close to a white light, it will glow once you turn the lights off. This uses typical PLA print speeds and heat settings. I use Elmer's Xtreme GlueStick for holding it on the print-bed. It's easy to apply and clean-up afterwards. Under normal conditions, this can be considered as a replacement for "natural" PLA, unless you simply don't want the glow to show up.

Brilliant as always from Hatchbox, good value and excellent quality. Diameter is extremely consistent varying only by 0.02mm at the absolute worst. Definitely worth buying!

Hatchbox PLA is great stuff, easy to work with, and very high quality. I haven't had any issues feeding or anything. This glow stuff prints nicely for me sliced in Cura with "Generic PLA" on my Ender 3 Pro. I use a hotend temp of 200C and a bed temp of 65C (I let it drop to 55 after the first layer). No issues with adhesion or anything, sticks great. I sometimes use a brim or raft for smaller parts. The glow effect doesn't last super long, but it's really quite fun. I have been told the glow stuff is hard on nozzles, but didn't notice anything with one roll. Highly recommended!
