Scholl Seal & Heal Verruca Removal Gel 10ml

For years I've had a verucca on my big toe, it became 2 veruccas at some point - unsure how long they were there for honestly, but I grew sick of seeing it and feeling self conscious about it. I started trying to treat it, using those chalk pods, bazuka, freeze pens. The chalk pods were finicky, bazuka I probably didnt use consistently enough to be effective, and the freeze pens didnt do anything. But I finally commited to getting rid of it and got this. It took me under two months for my foot to now look basically verucca free. (veruccas were maybe half a centimeter in size each, and the original one had a fair bit more depth than the second) I used it morning and evening, soaking my foot each time for a few mins, filing with an emery board and then applying a new coat of this treatment. For the first week or two I didnt file it, but found it worked much faster after I started filing every time I needed to apply the coating, and I would wear a plaster over it as I slept. It was relatively easy to apply, though the aplicator was a little odd and I found it difficult to be precise. I never used vaseline to protect the skin around them and even though the treatment would cover some healthy skin too I never had any pain, the area just turned white and then slowly disappeared with every filing and coating until nothing but fresh skin was left behind. I'm now just letting my toe rest for a week and seeing what it does as it looks smooth and pink, but a little raw with fresh skin where the veruccas used to be. Either way I'm super happy with the speed and effectiveness of this treatment and so happy to be free of these damn things just as I've started dating someone new 😄

So glad this was recommend to me. My son has had a veruca on his heal, I've tried the plasters, they slip, tried Bazuka takes ages to dry & smudges and I've not seen that it's been affective at all. Role on receiving this and within 3 days the veruca is nearly gone! Super happy

I had a painful lump on my foot that I thought was a verucca so I ordered this. By the time it arrived my lump had actually disappeared. So just the thought of applying this product scared my verucca into submission! So technically I haven't used this product yet but it worked. The applicator looks handy so I'll be keeping this around in case I do get (another?) verucca.

This product works okay for treating verrucas, but I found it a bit slow and not as effective as some home remedies. The gel is easy to apply and doesn’t require a plaster, which is convenient. However, if you’re looking for a faster solution, I’d recommend trying the cotton ball soaked in vinegar method. Simply soak a cotton ball in vinegar, place it on the verruca, and secure it overnight. Repeat this a few times until the verruca darkens and eventually disappears. That method worked better for me. Overall, Scholl’s gel is decent but don’t expect quick results.

My little boy kept getting verrucas from his swimming lessons with the school. Each time his toes would start to 'itch', we'd get a Verruca gel and paste it all over the itchy areas. Sadly, most of the cheaper ones were just too runny and they came off during the day. We tried wrapping the toes in plasters or bandages to keep the gel on the toes, but it didn't help. This gel is a lot more quick-drying and sticks to the skin well. It takes about a week to two weeks to completely kill off the more stubborn verrucas, and in that time the skin can turn white and start to peel off. But you have to stay the course, and keep applying the gel. Eventually enough skin peels off that you can see the black core of the verruca. You can keep applying gel until it works its way out (Can take 3+weeks) or you can dig around in the core with something sharp to hook out the blackened remains of the dead verruca. That's what we did, and after a couple of weeks, the verrucas (4 of them!) had all been beaten, and his toes were on the mend. Since then he hasn't had any more swimming lessons, and the verrucas haven't returned. I wish the pools still had those little disinfectant puddles for your feet. They seem to have got rid of them, and the prevalence of verrucas has exploded. This is good gel. It sticks to the skin better than others, and does the job.

Does exactly as stated. Tried the plasters for weeks and did not help. This work very quickly, easy to use, isn’t sticky as it dries quickly and there is plenty in the bottle. Would highly recommend

I have had verrucas on and off for years and had tried loads of different products including cryo treatments. I wish I had just started off by using this product! The main thing to remember with this is patience because it requires multiple applications over several days. Just use its applicator, let it dry and then leave it. You'll see the veruca slowly dissolve over time and feel no pain. For the more stubborn ones it took a few weeks but now there is no trace of them. One tip is to always keep the bottle in a cool place. I left it on the counter during a hot summer week and the liquid set into a thick gel, which reduced its effectiveness. I now keep mine in the fridge and you should too.
