Inner Pot, Stainless Steel Inner Pot

I got this to use as a pot-in-pot for my 5.7L Instant Pot - it works really well.

Perfect replacement inner pot for my 5L FlavorMaster Multifunction Cooker as the non-stick coating on the original inner pot was deteriorating significantly.

Several years ago (about 4.5) I bought my wife a Crockpot Express (I think its that model) pressure cooker which has been a god send. Its been used so much that on occasion I think implements were used that shouldnt have been taking the non stick coating off, time for a replacement. Here comes the issue, if you want a Crockpot replacement, it seems fairly difficult to find in the uk, nothing on amazon, however occasionally people write a review like this with the information you need. I ordered a stainless steel one, which is listed as being suitable for the 5.7 Instant pot, realistically these are all American, so its 6 Quarts, which is about 5.65 litres, so 5.6 litres from some suppliers, 5.7 from others. Quality seems ok, so we will see how long it lasts. On initial trial the pressure cooker was leaking a little and I didnt think it was actually the right one, however my wife said its been doing that even with the factory pot, then suddenly the seal does its job. So its advised to get a new seal while you are at it. All in all, for the money you cant complain for such valuable equipment.

Original Instant Pot pots, but you may get different style. The 5.7L is not compatible wit he the Duo Crisp or Duo range. The box does state this but you probably won't see it until after you opened the box:) I've purchased a "Used Like New" one which was the Nova version with the cup measurements on the inside of the steel pot. Regardless of the "Like New" description, the item was definitely NOT"Like New" as the item has scratches and small dents. Heads up when purchasing Amazon Warehouse stuff. In the past "Like New" meant not a customer returns. The Nova version is more expensive one Instant Pot website, probably due to the additional markings, but seems to be the same price on Amazon as you may randomly be lucky and get one. This is based on other customers photos on Amazon. I have purchased a NEW one pot from Amazon and this one is "NEW" and the same as my existing one that came with the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. Some reviews on the Instant Pot website stated that the weight was different on the new spare pots, less weight to it. Both the Nova and New Original version had almost the weight as the one that came with the Instant Pot, see photos (I didn't state which one was which in the photos that shows the weights as it is irrelevant).

it works with any rice cooker, sure its for our instapot but we tried it with our wilko rice cooker and just worked and no Alluminium scratches!!!!

I took a punt on this after reading an article on "pot-in-pot" cooking, (porridge). I bought this a YEAR ago - and its now time to do a review. Price / value is personal: that said this is very solid, not flimsy steel, and I suspect it will last a lifetime. I am totally sold on pot-in-pot: my "oats" are sooooo much better than using the outer pot, since the water is in the outer pot - you have much more control over how "wet" you make whatever is in the inner pot without getting the "burn" error. Another advantage is that the size of the pot makes cooking smaller portions "easier", and its more dishwasher friendly. 100% happy with it.

The Instant Pot Stainless Steel insert fit my Instant Pot Duo Crisp 6L without any problems and is now something I use all the time. Not sure why some reviewers mention issues — mine works exactly as expected.

Zu Anfang dachte ich ist ein zusätzlicher Topf eigentlich überflüssig. Aber schnell wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt. Es ist einfach unheimlich praktisch! Ist der eine Topf noch in der Spülmaschine, wird einfach der zweite hervorgeholt und schon kann es los gehen. Auch bei aufwändigeren Gerichten ist es super praktisch. Statt den Topf zwischen einzelnen Schritten spülen zu müssen, kann der erste bereits kochen während im zweiten Topf schon alles weitere vorbereitet wird. ZB kann man Fleisch schmoren und anschließend die Gemüsebeilage garen, während man das Fleisch schneidet und eine Sauce vorbereitet. Durch den fliegenden Wechsel verliert man kaum Zeit. Die Töpfe selbst sind original Instant Pot. Sie sind aus pflegeleichtem Edelstahl und haben im Inneren die bekannte Skala. Sie passen perfekt in den IP 6qt. Oh als Ersatz oder Ergänzung - die Anschaffung lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wir haben noch einen zusätzlichen im Keller stehen - für alle Fälle.
