Excellent moisturiser for extremely dry areas.

I am a few days in using this, having used the lotion in the past. I much prefer this, it seems to absorb more easily. It WILL leave your skin a little tacky, that is the nature of magnesium oil. I'm highly sensitive to scents and this one is very mild but not one you would choose to spray on and wear : ) It is not about that, it is about taking in magnesium through the skin, being able to apply it directly to painful muscles or joints and getting relief. For anyone unaware of this you can't overdose on magnesium inasmuch your body will get rid of it by increasing bowel function, so if you get the 'runs', reduce the amount you use until you find the sweet spot, Also, whilst magnesium aids sleep, in some people it can have the opposite effect when used at night, so if it has not helped you sleep, apply in the morning instead.

I had tender skin on the back of my arm, used this for about 2 weeks and the skin felt better, and less painful. It could be a little bit thicker, but that’s a small criticism.

Anything I say will sound like an exaggeration, but this cream has been my saviour! I am no longer an insomniac. I tend to use it more after my nighttime shower - rubbing it all over and paying special attention to the soles of my feet where the magic happens. I’m asleep within a few minutes! I’m waking feeling refreshed, and not with the usual grogginess. If I use it after my morning shower, it’s sparingly, as I consider it a luxury, LOL! The friends I’ve recommended it to have all said it worked wonders for their respective issues. It’s being absorbed through your largest organ - your skin, and is better than any capsule or pill, in my opinion. I would suggest that you read the description and research magnesium creams before you buy, so that you will fully appreciate how it works.

Although it was sealed with a tin foil type lid it had the smell like when cream goes off and could not see a date on it. Bought some essential oils to mix with it which helps with the awful smell but still leaves skin feeling tacky. Looked to see if I could return but they do not accept returns! Will return to my old faithful, Cetaphil.

The last few years I have not slept well, wandering the house,or being on the computer at all hours. I read that Magnesium helps with this. So I thought oh well I have tried everything else, give it a go. It has taken a few weeks, but I am starting to sleep through the night. Peaceful sleep. I still get the odd night when I am awake for an hour or so, but I have had almost 2 weeks of unbroken sleep and I feel so much better, and so much more energy during the day. I apply the cream after my shower, on my feet, legs and lower back. The top half I use my usual body cream. This is thick, but does soak in. My skin seems fine. There is no perfume, so suitable for anyone who does not like "smells". I am about to order my second one. Hope it continues to work.Give it time to work,2/3 weeks I did try taking the tablets, but with IBS the side effects of tablets can be diarrhoea so that is NOT for me. No side effects from the cream.

I have the whole range from Better You and I love this body butter I don't mind the smell but you could easily add a couple if drops of say lavender essential oil and just mix in really well (a coffee shop stirer works great for this). I use the lotion all the time but wanted to have something I could use on the dry area's and I'm also getting a bit of pain in my fingers. So when this was on offer I decided to give it a try. I have been using it as a hand cream and it's really helping my hands. Not only is it a really nice butter cream as it absorbs well and doesn't leave your hands greasy (note that it does take a few minutes to absorb as it's a thick rich cream). How I use this is just before bed it's the last this I use. This isn't as strong as the lotion or the oil but you use them where it works best. I have osteoarthritis in my hip so what I do is I use a little bit of oil on the painful area first then I put a small amount of the lotion on top. Tip if you have any area that's a bit on the tacky side after using any of the range just use a light dusting if talcum powder.

Pro's: I purchased this cream because I have arthritis in my toes and the joints under the balls of my feet, I was going to buy the oil but after reading reviews about how it stings I decided to ere on the side of caution and go with the cream. I am pleased with it as it's helped my toes a lot, they are not pain free but I'm living in hope they may be when I've used it for a while longer. Cons: I can't say it's helped the joints under the balls of my feet which is why I've only given it 4*. It doesn't seem to be very moisturising either but it is a body cream and not designed for the thicker skin on your feet.
