American Crew Light Hold Texture Lotion - 250ml

I use American Crew a lot. But was looking for a lighter hair product. Haven't tried this before. But it's just what I needed. If you're looking for a light hold. Not greasy, sticky or rock hard. This will meet your needs.

As a hair product, it works brilliant for my thick long hair. It’s not too shiny, it holds well while still keeping it flowing. I can’t complain at all about the actual product use…but my god, it smells. It smells like the bottom of an empty used pool. They need to add some kind of fragrance to this because it is not good.

Really impressed with this. I wanted something that would give my hair a bit of shape and texture without looking like I’d slathered it in product — and this absolutely delivers. It’s light, easy to work through, and doesn’t leave your hands feeling sticky. I use a small amount after towel drying and it gives just enough hold to stop the fluff and help my hair sit right all day. No stiffness, no greasiness — just a natural, tidy look. The scent is subtle and clean (typical American Crew), and it doesn’t clash with anything else I’m wearing. If you’re after a simple, low-effort styling product for everyday use, this is a great choice. Will definitely keep using.

Decent hair control but like an earlier review it does have a strange smell when you wet your hands when fixing your hair.

Great for my thick straight hair, gives it a natural product-less look, tames it well and removes the wirey/dry look. Can be applied to towel dried hair so no need to dry it fully. Big bonus as it's convenient to use straight after a shower. Previously used the American Crew gel which is good but I much prefer this lotion as it's lighter and more natural looking. It has a very light hold to it, so you can still keep the hair in a certain position

Good size bottle. The product is like a watery cream, spreads through hair well, you don’t need much. Holds well and gives good texture once applied, let it sink it abit and ruffle up. However, I agree with others, the smell is not great, for a hair product it should smell better, more clean and fresh. Smells abit dank, almost like disinfectant or chlorine in a swimming pool, slightly fishy too
