Black+Blum - Ice Tray - Brrrrr

Seems like a nice idea, but really it's more trouble than it's worth just to get ice. Once the ice cubes have frozen, you really have to smash the bottom end of this ice tray just to dislodge them. Even then there's no guarantee that all of them will dislodge. I've had to slam this thing on the floor and I still had ice cubes stuck in the "feet" of the tray. Is this a novelty item? Sure. Is it this practical item? HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NO!

I really love this ice cube tray. Just be sure not to overfill, otherwise the ice cubes will not come out when you try to dislodge them.

Super cute ice trays, I bought these because the cheap plastic ice trays made nowadays keep cracking and falling apart. I am confused by the negative reviews, the directions are so simple there aren't even words (just pictures). Fill up the bear vertically, wait for excess wate to pour out the spout, pop on the top and freeze, whack the back and VOILA, ice comes out! Much better quality than my old ice trays. If I had more room in my freezer I would have more than two.

The action to 'release' the ice may damage my counter top! You have to hit the tray sooooo hard it makes a loud noise and its never just once you have to hit this thing. Not practical and if you put just a little too much water, the ice CANNOT COME OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE CONTAINER.

This is really cool, but it takes a lot of space in your fridge for so little ice. It also makes a lot of noise to hit it to break the ice. If you put a lot of water, the ice won't come out of the whole.

I also thought these looked aesthetically pleasing and functional. I bought these for my wife and we both were excited when they came in the mail. Shortly after freezing some water we became disappointed, I guess it wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't bought 2 of them. You have to fill them with a certain amount of water, which is an exact science and when you mess up you have problems when you need ice the most. Either you have too much water and the ice is too big and does not come out or too little and the ice does release from legs. Either way it is way more work than necessary for ice cubes. Until they fix these I cannot recommend them to other people or give it more than 2 stars. At this point I am going to try and return them if possible.

just love this little ice maker! No mess, no long wait & cute. This would be fun for children; easy to fill, great fun with (safe) big bash.

Number one feature ice needs for me is no odor. This tray does that without fail. The plastic is very hard and tough and that is a good thing. The drain hole is meant to limit water level. Hot water helps release cubes. Only problem I have is plastic shards from mfg still inside when I got it.
