Expensive, but it was a good fit and no need to clear the error codes. This was for a 2011 bmw 535i.

Perfect OEM HID Replacement Bulb
This Philips D1S bulb is a high-quality, direct replacement for factory HID headlights. The 4300K color provides bright, white light with excellent road visibility. It's an OEM part made in Germany, meeting all original specs. Installation was straightforward. Note: This is for D1S fitment only, confirm your bulb type first. A reliable and effective upgrade. Authentic Bulbs. Great savings!
I bought 2 as recommended even though only one was needing replaced. I know from experience just getting one can give you an odd look with the headlights not matching. Someone previously posted these were fake knockoffs. NOT SO in my case. There is a sticker on the box to scan and scratch to reveal a code which authenticates the bulbs with Philips. Pretty comforting in these times with all the forgeries. I am very happy with the bulbs and the ability to save money vs going to the dealer. It was a very simple replacement in my case (2011 BMW X3). Also, a previous poster complained about inadequate packaging. I did not see any issues with the way mine was packaged. They were in a padded pouch with the boxes inside bubble wrapped and the manufactures box also provided protection via carboard baffle. I am extremely happy with the purchase.
