Cozy Sunday Crosswords

I’ve always enjoyed the Newsday Sunday crossword puzzles, but no longer get the newspaper. For me, the puzzles are mildly challenging, but certainly doable. It’s just a way to relax with the TV turned off & no electronics.

This is my first venture into the realm of another 'builder' other than Will Shortz. I am enjoying this and plan to buy more of these Sunday CW books. But you know what really sells me on these printings is that they are SPIRAL BOUND!! Even the best of big puzzles is worthless to me if I have to fight the book to work them. This series lies flat when opened, so that I am not fighting the crease and writing in the center fold. Hallelujah!

I enjoy these crosswords and love the fact that they are in an easy-to use format

I thoroughly enjoy the Stanley Newman crossword books

Always enjoy the crossword books. Love that the paper is sturdy enough to erase (not newsprint). This one was a little harder than most but that is a good challenge without being overwhelming.

The spiral book format is great and the crosswords are very good.

Not this as I was going to have surgery and would be laid up for a few weeks. This was the perfect companion-puzzles were challenging enough not to frustrate. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to do crosswords and complete them -without looking up the answers.

I have purchased many versions of this crossword book. I find them tough but fair. I don’t go on any vacation without one of these books. Try not to cheat and look at the answers in the back section.

Finally crossword puzzles that aren't too easy or too difficult. I'm actually enjoying this one.

The puzzles weren’t as difficult as I thought they would be. Still enjoyed the product though.
