Google Pixel 6a - Protective Phone Case - Charcoal

Great fit and very protective. I bought this case and also accidentally purchased one of the Google branded cases that look nearly identical and my honest opinion is this one is the better option over the branded case. It is easier to put on and just feels like the better more superior product. Seems more scratch resistant and also came with a screen protector so there's that. Overall a great product that feels like good quality.

Bought this case brand new at the end of July for my Pixel 6a. It's the official case from the phone maker themselves, and now priced at $10, it should be better than other cases for this phone... right? It may feel good at first, and initially I liked it - but only a month later, it started warping, i.e. the silicone layer was splitting away from the internal plastic layer. The warping just got progressively worse every month, until three months in when I decided to just discard this case and buy the Spigen Rugged Armor for $5 more that I should have just bought in the first place - I've owned multiple of those for different phones and they've all been great. I've even had cheap cases ($10 and less) from unknown brands hold up better than this in similar time, there is zero excuse for the official Google case to hold up so poorly - let alone for the $30 this case originally supposedly cost when it launched. As the title says, don't even bother buying this case and get literally anything else.

It's a case. It provides protection for the phone, but therefore it does catch the wear. As it supposed to! The color is a nice light blue and fits the white Pixel 6A elegantly. It's a bit pricey, but it's pricier to not have a case when you need one ;-)

The case was great, but after 18 months, it began to loosen and warp. No idea why - never exposed to extreme temps or destructive chemicals, never removed from case - but finally today the phone simply fell out when it slipped from night table to rug. That's it. It would be dangerous to continue to rely on it now.

This was great for a couple months, but is now deformed and discolored. I'm not happy with this case at all. It initially fit perfectly, but after 3 months, the corners and button areas are warping away from the device.

I’m going to give it 5 stars for 2 reasons; I bought 2 for the price of one, and it looks really nice on the phone. Now as far as the reviews I’ve read I was very skeptical but when the price dropped I changed my mind. Currently I don’t see any signs of any kind; but I literally just got it on 9/15/23 so…my first impression was that I thought the case would be a little more rigid, so I can see deformation happening with extended heat from being in a pocket or direct sunlight…just guessing. It will more then likely be in my pocket for most of the time; when I’m working I put the phone in my bag and sync to a speaker so I won’t have much contact with the phone…but I will keep an eye on it as of now I think it looks awesome and I got 2 for the price of one so will see.

Nice quality, do take into account it does get dirty/blackens, since it is real leather. Phone protection grade is medium at best. Case leather is sensitive to scratches/dents. Of that is not a problem, this case is awesome.

Went a horrible yellowy colour after about 2 months of having this on the phone. I had purchase this as I was in a bit of a pinch and thought the Google branded case would be of a better quality and compliment the phone perfectly. The colour WAS pretty nice but that seemed quite short lived as it went a horrble yellowy colour and deformed around the edges, not fitting the phone properly anymore. Would not recommend, since switched to a budget third party case which seems 10x better.

Diesmal füge ich das Fazit voran! FAZIT: Das teuerste und gleichzeitig schlechteste Case was ich jemals hatte. Und so etwas von Google. Schämt euch! Zu mir: Ich gehe mit meinen Geräten immer sehr Vorsichtig um. Ich hatte schon sehr viele Smartphones gehabt (Privat & Beruflich) und mir ist noch nie eines heruntergefallen oder irgendwie kaputt gegangen. Für die meisten (jedoch nicht jedes) Smartphones hatte ich auch Cases gehabt (meist China). Pro: Das Case von Google war für die ersten Wochen, perfekt. Es passt super und sah gut aus. Neutral: Das Case ist nicht gerade billig (Preis), jedoch ging ich auch davon aus, dass Google für ihr eigenes Smartphone auch ein schönes und haltbares Case bereitstellen würde (Eigenwerbung). Das kostet halt.... Dachte ich..... Negativ: Wunsch glauben! Das Case hat sich letztlich, nach nicht einmal 6 Monaten, ohne nennenswerte Belastung, selbst aufgelöst. Google nutzt ein Hardcase um welches eine Silikonhülle herum ist. Leider wurde bei den Tasten und Ladeschacht das Hardcase ausgespart, womit das Silikonhülle nicht die Form halten konnte. Damit sieht diese Hülle nach nur kurzer Zeit nicht mehr schön und gänzlich ausgeleiert aus. Und das für den dreifachen Preis eines durchschnittlichen China-Case (welche die Form halten kann). Zwar verfärben gerne mal die China-Cases, doch auf eine Laufzeit von 2 Jahren gesehen, kann man sich für den von Google taxierten Preis, auch gleich drei China-Cases kaufen und diese nach und nach tauschen.

Jag kan rekommendera alla som vill ha ett praktiskt skydd för sin Pixel 6A telefon att köpa detta skal.

Super Qualität und sieht sehr schön aus 👍🏻 War echt positiv überrascht da die hülle nicht gerade günstig ist aber der Preis ist für diese Qualität echt angemessen
