This is the same brand I was given by my Dr after surgery. It has good compression around my abdominal, but not too tight. The area around my rib cage is a bit uncomfortable, but with other brand I tried that was unbearable. It is currently the hottest part of summer so these are not helping but I’m not sure there’s any other material that would be better for the heat & still compress. I’m only 5’1” so the legs on this are too long to wear with shorts. But it’s much more comfortable than the style made like underwear, as that one cuts into my legs. I have to wear compression all day every day so I’ve tried several different types & this one by far is the best I’ve found. I went by the size chart & it was accurate.

If you have abdominal surgery of any kind, you will likely be told by your surgeon to wear a compression garment for a number of weeks. This brand was the more comfortable of the two that I purchased. It has the advantage of drying very rapidly. You can wash it out by hand and hang it up and it will be ready to wear in the morning. It is significantly more expensive than some of the other brands. Shop for sales and purchase in advance of your surgery.

If you were told to use this post surgery you should truly order at least two. The reason being that your surgeon will likely expect you to wear it 24 hours a day, removing only for showering, for several days.

I had major surgery and I was given this post op. I have to wear this for 90 days so I thought I would buy another as I need to wash them and they work great! The compression is great and while difficult to put on (because of the swelling, not because of the material), once it is on, you forget you have it on. Highly recommend!

I used these post surgery for my compression garments. It has great compression but the placement of the shoulder straps is too wide and cuts into my underarms. Maybe this doesn't happen for others but I have to wear the garment without the straps and let it hang just below the breast. It made my first few weeks of wearing it quite uncomfortable while I was at my most swollen. My swelling has gone down but the placement of them still digs in. I found another garment by the same brand that is just the legs and waist with no straps and have started using that instead. The crotch opening is wide enough to make using the bathroom easy enough. I'm not sure if it's the fabric or the compression itself but my skin has had a bit of a reaction to it so I now use pieces of fabric between my skin and the garment to help. Again, not sure if that's everyone but just what I've been experiencing. I would still very much recommend this to others just beware that the strap placement may be uncomfortable for you.
