Cheap and works great!
Great product! Works with every game I have thrown at it, all except for Battletoads. Battletoads freezes during the 2nd level, but can be bypassed by using the level 3 warp in the first level. Other then that it works very well with everything else. Also be very careful when pulling the game cartridges out of the top loader because the pins inside the system can be easily damaged, and I mean easily considering that this is my second unit. The first unit was damaged because I didn’t know the pins in the unit were easily damaged when trying to get the cartridges out as they tend to get stuck in the unit and sometimes you have to pull on the game cart pretty hard. Still a great product overall if you want a cheap alternative to playing your old NES cartridges.

Product works as specified 👍🏼
Bought it for my pops for Christmas, worked well, it's a cheap console that works, had a glitch every so often when starting a new game, but new tech with old tech it's to be expected. Good product, good shape. Definitely worth the price 👍🏼

Pretty Good Overall
I like this a lot and there are a few things to note. Pros: - Good picture with a nice color palette (some clones have odd colors but these are very nice) - Cheap solution for HD NES games - The controllers feel very nice and you get two included - Compatibility seems pretty good and even games like Castlevania 2 that don't run well on my Super Retro Trio run great on this Cons: - The Everdrive N8 does not work on it and you get a black screen if you try booting it up - The audio on all games is just a little off. It's not super annoying, but it is noticeable - By default if outputs 16:9 so you need to set the aspect ratio on your tv or your games will be stretched - The power cable feels very cheap and is just a micro usb cable and plug, but I guess they had to cut on something to keep the price so low There is definitely room for improvement, but for the price this is a really solid system and I'm going to be using it a lot for sure. It's a nice HD solution that doesn't cost too much and is practical for anyone who wants something that "just works" so long as they are okay with the audio being a little off.

Good console, but the HDMI output doesn't work
Got this console about a year ago, plugged it into my CRT screen using the component video output and it works great. No issues with sound, response delay, video quality, or anything else. The controllers also felt great (although mine look slightly different from the ones in the pictures? The A and B buttons are at the same height rather than offset, but this is a non-issue since the functionality is still great). The only problem is, I recently tried to use the HDMI output to connect to a modern TV while I was away from my CRT... and it doesn't work. The TV recognizes that something is plugged in, because there's no "no input" message, but the output is completely black. Not a huge deal for me but definitely a bit of a bummer. I tried a couple different screens and troubleshot for about an hour to no avail, so if you don't want to use component video, definitely keep this in mind. Overall, great console at a great price but with one major defect that could be real trouble for some customers.

Very good overall
Graphics and color look super clean, bold, and super sharp on new TVs. Only game that I have tried that won't boot is "goal!", and battle toads locks up on the 2nd level, but this is common across all nes clone consoles for battle toads. The sound on the Mario games are not accurate to the original nes console, but this is something I have seen on all hd clone consoles. Not the worst thing in the world but may bother old school purists. Between Gamerz tek 8 bit hd, Retron1 hd, and this, this system is the best of all of the hd nes clone consoles (apart from something like analogue at a premium price)

What a disappointment.
My initial excitement turned into disappointment. First, let's get the system stuff out of the way. The system is very compact. I'd say it's 6"x6"x2". It's powered by Micro USB or you can use the AC adapter with it. Controllers is pretty decent. System worked well with you 8Bitdo Bluetooth FC30 Controller with no issues and no lag. I primarily used the HDMI cable to connect the system to the TV. Games looks very good on an HDTV using HDMI. Aspect ratio is 16:9. Some games will DEFINITELY SOUND OFF when you play them. I tested Mega Man 3, Mega Man 5, Low G Man, Super Mario Brothers 3 and the Everdrive N8. The Mega Man games played fine but the sound was quite off. Low G Man also played fine but the sound was off as well. Super Mario Brothers 3 wouldn't work. My cart wasn't dirty or anything; the system just didn't work with it. The Everdrive N8? NOPE. Doesn't work. It wouldn't load up at all. I'm surprised by Retro-Bit. The Super Retro Trio didn't have much issues (besides Castlevania 3 not working but that goes for more Nintendo/Famicom clone systems) and it seems game compatibility is really hit or miss. The Super Retro Trio barely had issues with game compatibility so the fact that the RES+ can't even play SMB3 is case of caveat empour. I hope the Super Retro Trio HD doesn't make the same mistake like the RES+ did. Stick with the Super Retro Trio, the Analouge HD or something else.

Works Well!
It's a little glitchy at times and you have to fit the cartridge just right, but once it's in the correct way it plays just like in the old days! My husband loves sharing this with our kids. It's lots of fun for them to do together.

The game console arrived quickly and works great. The only thing I'm not happy with is the one controller doesn't work properly

1 controller inputs stopped working after 2 months, and now the other one doesn’t work either. Have been trying to get ahold of the seller since December, because the protection plan doesn’t kick in until the manufacturer warranty is up. Received one communication in December from the seller that they would send me a new controller, but it’s April and nothing has arrived. Further contact with the seller has gone unanswered.
