KIWITATA Classic N64 USB Controller, Retro N64 Remote Wired Joystick Game Pad Emulator Controller for Windows XP 7 8 11 & MAC Raspberry Pi 3

So far this has been a great nostalgia find. I’ve used it to play Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time on my PC, and it has worked flawlessly. Time will tell how durable it is, but it seems solid so far after a month.

Works pretty well as a substitute for the real N64 controller, if you’re playing some roms. The sensitivity isn’t quite the same for the joystick, but I have yet to find another controller that can match the original. Overall though, I’m pretty happy with it.

Bought this to replace my old one. Unsure if I just got a dud or what, but my computer won't detect this controller at all. No response on emulators, Zelda recomp... not really any software or games which use a controller pick this thing up, and I do not get the usual windows chime when you plug in a device when trying. Never had this kind of issue with one of these lower-cost usb n64 controllers before, so I'm definitely disappointed. :( Here's to hoping the one I got for my friend works when he gets the chance to check it.

It was fun until I realized mine came with a broken c stick button. I found this out the hard way by playing starfox 64 (you need the left c stick button a lot). Was a little sad it didn’t have a slot for expansion packs as well

So far so good. Haven’t noticed any dead spots and the joystick feels just like an original. Little on the light side but I suppose that’s due to no memory card or rumble pack set up. Works on the pi and that’s all I needed it for. Buttons feel kinda tall but doesn’t bother me. Played Star Fox and Mario Kart perfect. Only used it for a day or 2. Joystick looks slightly cheap so if you’re looking to play all day everyday look at a different one but if you want one for some time here and there this ones not bad. Update: Jan 8th 2018. Been using the controller here and there for a while and noticed recently on games like Mario party, Star Fox, and super Mario 64 the joystick is missing the fluent motion when trying to turn. You either get up, up-left, or left. You understand what I’m saying. Only thing that is the downfall so far.

This controller works perfectly. Brings me back to the late 90’s. I am using it with simple 64 and setup was a breeze. I definitely recommend this this N64 controller for anyone looking for a controller. Especially with simple64 emulator… 007, here I come
