Sesame Street: Elmo's ABC Lift-the-Flap (29)

Great book. This is our second Elmo loft a flap and one of our favorites. The alphabet ideas in this are too complex for my 2 1/2 year old to grasp (all items pictured in one area of a page begin with the letter P, for example) but there’s no harm in presenting material that is enjoyable even if it’s lost on him at this time. NOTE: these books (big Elmo lift a flap) are VERY busy, with lots of flaps and color and things going on. That’s part of the appeal for my son, but if your child is easily visually overstimulated, this may not be the book for you. Or perhaps just not the best choice for a bedtime read. Otherwise, it’s a colorful and fun book.

Granddaughter loved this book!

Great book for kids to start introducing words. It has many pull out/flap sections. I made the mistake of starting this book early with my little one and she ripped one of the flaps, so I haven't pulled out all the flaps on the rest of the pages. There is little text, like a sentence on each page and then lots of words. The sentences do ryme, which I love with children's books so I can sing the book to my baby.

My two year old nephew who loves Elmo, loves this book. It has flaps for every letter so it provides some education for them as well.

Very cute book with TONS of flaps for every page which is good and bad. Bad for a small baby like mine who see too many flaps but will be great for her as she grows! Definitely a fun book

My daughter mentioned how much her little one was enjoying watching Elmo for her 30 mins of TV each day. So, when I saw this book, I had to order it. It’s now her favorite. She asks for it and just sits and reads it herself. Beyond the alphabet, there are sooo many words (many familiar and others new) under the flaps. She loves opening the flaps and saying the words she knows, it the sound an animal makes. The book is oversized; the flaps are very sturdy; and the flaps close as you turn the page. A great investment that she will enjoy for a long time!

This books is perfect for my 2 year old Elmo fan. Love all of the flaps to open.

This book is amazing. Seriously awesome for getting kids interested in their letters. Large flaps are perfect for little hands and keeping children engaged in the book. Each letter has a lift the flap with rhymes and examples of words that start with that letter under the flap as well as on that particular page in the book. Bright pictures and your favourite sesame characters! Great large sized book. Would definitely recommend. We have the numbers version as well and that one is great too!

The flapsdo rip if not gentle. great book hours of fun.
