Fascinatingly good value for what you get
Fascinatingly good value for what you get. I needed a replacement screen to eke out just a few more weeks of use out of my phone before a new model releases. Been using my iPhone SE 2020 for the past 5 years and the screen died after what must have been its 1000th drop. I'm honestly not sure if I needed to replace the entire screen, maybe the ribbon cable just got knocked loose, but I went forward with the entire replacement process to see how hard it could be, and it really wasn't that difficult, granted I already have some experience with repairing small objects like cameras. For the price I paid, I can't complain about the quality of anything in the kit, but on that topic, nothing was really so bad that it stopped me from completing the screen replacement. The metal ring on the suction cup to let you grip it as you pull the screen away from the body was prone to bending, and instead of using the plastic picks for breaking the seal between screen and body, I just used my fingernail instead. The screwdrivers were came pre-magnetized, which is nice. Quality of the screen is good enough; the most noticeable thing is that the colors are duller, but the actual resolution/fidelity of the display is about the same. Display and touchscreen also feel equally responsive as the original. For me, it's all I need. I know I shouldn't cheap out on everything, but I really didn't feel the need to spend extra for a better screen when I'm going to get a brand new phone in a few weeks anyway. Great for a holdover replacement screen, but honestly I'd be fine with this for a few more years if I had to use it for that long.

Nice fit and good quality
I loved this kit because it included almost everything I needed to replace my screen. The only additional item required was adhesive tape, which wasn’t included. The step-by-step instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the replacement process convenient and straightforward. The screen’s image quality is comparable to factory-new and showed no defects upon installation. This review is based on receiving the product and successfully installing it on my device. I am currently unfamiliar with its long-term durability. If any quality issues arise beyond normal wear and tear, I will update my review accordingly. For a cost-effective solution to get your phone back in working order, this kit is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Looks new, but didn't perform like it.
Although the packaging appeared new, I’m not convinced the screen itself was. Part of the paint on the front cover was chipped, and the home button connection didn’t work. The same home button works perfectly with my old cracked screen, so the issue is clearly with this replacement. It was a tedious job to install, and now I’m worried I’ll have to redo it because the screen doesn’t seem to be in good condition.

Good deal with some compromises
Purchased iPhone SE display August 2024. It came with a screen protector, various tools and a diagram mat with holes cut out to remember where each screw goes. Install is easy enough. Colors are OK but not totally accurate to the original screen. It doesn’t include the home button so you need to transplant the one from your broken screen - take note that if the home button is broken you’ll need to get a new one as well. My primary issue with this replacement is that the polarizer layer is different so it will NOT work correctly while wearing sunglasses. It’s super frustrating and I’m going to replace this screen again and keep it for an emergency. Update, Dec 2025: I never actually swapped this screen for a better quality one. The polarizer issue is still annoying (The screen will turn black if you look at it vertically with polarized sunglasses.). However, 16 months later and I've dropped this phone so many times and the new screen has so many cracks and is missing so much glass, but for the most part is still working fine. Considering the very low price and how much abuse it's taken, I'm increasing my rating from 3/5 to 4/5 stars.

Works on iPhone 6s.
Fit on iPhone 6s without issue. Seems to work well enough - the phone had broken glass when I got it, so can't compare to original. Used the same home button that came with phone, so no issue there. So far, so good.

Not perfect but "OK"
There are three small areas where the screen is discolored, showing up like smudges. I think this screen might have been a quality drop out at the factory and then sold on the repair market. This is the second replacement screen and the first (from a different supplier) had similar issues. The touch function is fine and the smudges are not that distracting. The phone is long in the tooth and replacing the screen is simply an effort to prolong the inevitable $1000+ donation to Apple for a new phone.
